Okay, is this really typical???
My cousin is 35 (so AMA, I think?) and was due 2/1. She went in today, expecting to be told they would induce her (since they'd talked about induction last week!) and her OB told her to round everyone up she is having a c-section at 12:30!!
They aren't even going to try to induce her?! Is that really typical? She is saying it is because baby didn't drop.
Lucas didn't drop! My OB still TRIED. I just think it's sad. :-/ She really didn't want a c-section.
DH is taking sick leave to come home and watch Lucas so I can head to the hospital...
*eta*
Her OB is the same one that was on-call when I had my gallbladder attack. The one that told me all I had was heartburn and there was no reason to go to the ER because I needed to learn pregnancy is painful and they wouldn't do anything for me but call her. grr...
