Yeah I did a little. She said she wasn't as mad anymore but she's so unpredictable you never know what'll happen next. And you can tell that she still doesn't like me talking to her bf and she is always bugging me when me and the guy are talking about her. It's just that he's the only one who really understands all of this.

I really don't see the big deal with you talking to him.

which still makes me question HOW because I DOUBT gigantic gaps in the ceilings/walls where pipes should be existed let the snake stare at innocent half-bloods and stun them or whatever

I think it's more like Ginny/Riddle told the snake who to attack. The Basilisk then used the pipes to go around until it caught their scent. Then it would come out and attack.

Where were the openings in the pipes if the snake was at least like 5 feet wide.

I doubt it could squeeze out of a sink faucet.

The sinks in the girls bathroom opened into a large pipe that lead to the Chamber. I assume that's how it got out.
