The New World with Collen Farell

Just saw this moive today and it is a snooze fest. It is torture. Now I like Collen so one would think it would be worthwhile just to see him. Let me just say I had a colonoscopy last week and it was more enjoyable. The female lead looks as if she is on LSD half the time and everything in the movie moves in half time. Trust me do not waste your time.

That movie was filmed about an hour away from here, so it got quite a bit of press during production. When I heard it was being directed by the same person that directed "The Thin Red Line" I figured it wouldn't be on my must see list. Judging from the local reviewer's mention of the meandering internal monologues in this movie, I'm not surprised it's a snooze fest. The same thing was used in The Thin Red Line, and I fell asleep in that movie.
