Planning a trip to WL this August and have read on the boards that a rehab of the rooms could be in the works. Does anyone one know when it is to begin and will it be done by the end of August? I would love to get a rehabed room if possible.

As far as I know they will start in April and by August all of the rehab will be done !!!!
We are going to stay at the lodge from the beginning of August and it looks like we'll have a brand NEW room !!!!!!

Hi! Is there a pic anywhere of a hidden Mickey that I could print and use for my DIS circle journal (scrapbooking)? I've never looked for hidden Mickeys , but I need to do a layout about one, so I thought I'd see if there was a pic of one at the WL that I can try to find the next time I'm there! Thanks!

Just thought I'd let you know. I emailed WL Concierge today..to make sure the renovations of rooms would be done up there by my stay in August. They emailed me back and told me the Club Level renovations should be completed by July!

Does anyone know what the rennovations are going to consist of? Are they painting the rooms, new furniture, new bedding? Just curious.

Yes. We took it a while back. The thing is I don't remember where we saw this sconce We tried to look for it last Saturday but couldn't find it. I do know that it is located in the SouthWing around the elevators.

I know we have some more, and will try and look for them. I think my DH took one of the hidden mickey in the map by Territory Lounge. That one is a good one to try and find.

From what I've read..it was going to include new bedding, wallpaper, carpet and furnishings...I just hope those yucky sinks, which don't look clean no matter what they do.. are included

Hi everyone - I'm new here and I apologize for intruding on this thread, but I wanted to ask a question.

We are going back to the WL in September. I have stayed twice, both in courtyard views -once overlooking the pool, and once in room 1152, overlooking the villas pool. My husband was disappointed in the view, as he didn't feel it was "courtyard" but in the end, we loved the location.

This time we booked woods view (bunk bed request) but I'm nervous that we won't like the location as much. So, my first question is - does either view have more bunk beds than the other? And, if we stick with woods view, can anyone recommend areas that they liked, that are considered woods? Can a woods view end up over the lobby? (I realize now that might be a stupid question! ) I'm really starting to second guess myself here!

While I don't have the answer to your question, I'm going for the first time 4/30 but I'm thinking you do not need to apologize for intruding. From all I've read those that can help you answer your question, want to do just that. There are lots of WL vets here. Good luck with the answer.
