DISers use Alien Green Mickey head paint chips to identify themselves to each other while in WDW. You can attatch them to your bag or put them on your room door so that other DISers can say hi to you. You can either leave them blank or write your screen name on it is you like.

Check out this thread for more info and a few good laughs. There is a ton of info in the 1st post.

Thanks so much - I have already added it to my list of must have items. I can't wait. This will be fun

As it stands we had courtyard view bunk bed room. Anything i should request?? I was thinking of something overlooking the Pool, but I have NO IDEA!! Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Just be sure to request inner courtyard if you want to overlook the pool, otherwise, you may be overlooking the villas. Still not sure why they consider these rooms courtyard view but they do.

I have booked 3 rooms in WL with a courtyard view. What are the best rooms to request? I think I would rather have a good view then a short walk. The only problem is we would the 3 rooms in the same hall. Not neccesarily next to each other. None of the rooms are bunk bed rooms.

Thanks!

Hi WL fans! I have a question regarding the woods view rooms. Is there any particular room or section you would recommend? This will be our first time staying at WL, so I don't know much about it. I have tried to read all the info. in this thread, but there is sooo much that I'm sure I may have missed talk about woods view rooms. TIA!

The only recommendation I would have is to request a room that's on one of the higher floors for a possible view of the fireworks at night. You might also want something close to where the main tower and the wing connects. This elevator brings you down close to roaring forks and the pool which in turn gets you closer to the dock for the boat to the Magic Kingdom.

How's that?

9 days until our first stay at the lodge :cool1:

What should I expect from a standard view. I don't care too much because we got the incredible AP rate, just curious.

It's not bad, but you willl be looking at the service area, or if you're on the other side it will be a rooftop.

Can anyone critique my "getting to the parks" plan to make sure it's realistic for travel time, etc? Just 2 adults, early May, no kids to slow us down ;)

7:30-8:15 eat breakfast at Roaring Forks
8:15-8:50 leave on MK BUS (allowing for walking to bus stop, wait and travel time)
8:50 arrive at MK

Saturday

7:30-8:15 eat breakfast at Roaring Forks
