Hurts a LOT less. Paintballs travel slowerd, but they are bigger and hurt a LOT more. The airsoft bb's are tiny little plastic things that barely give you a welt. The thing is, people that play airsoft have to be honest. With paintball, you know if you hit the guy because it splatters on your clothing. Airsoft, there is nothing, just the trust of the guy being shot. I like Airsoft more though. In general people are a bit nice and more honest, and its just a hell of a lot of fun running around with weapons that look damn near close to the real deal.
