I just finished applying to a couple more jobs and I am so ready for bed. I hate the fact that all of these companies feel the need to each have their own registration processes and resume builders. It takes like 2-3 hours to apply for each job! I think I could make good money creating a standard online application procedure that all companies could use...moreso than just a Monster or CareerBuilder, I mean. Even jobs I find on those sites just direct you to the company's site so you have to go through their specific steps. It's just not right!

OK, enough of that...I'm off to have some dreams and then not remember them...as usual!

I know how you feel with the application process. I'm trying to get a career upgrade myself. Each employer has its own stuff. They let you do only one thing: send an e-mail or use snail mail or fill out their enormous online forms or fax them but for God's sake don't call them. Otherwise your resume will be shredded.

See, I was born with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, but I inherited a premature grey gene and I inherited it quite WELL! 70% grey (I am not old!), so I have to color it to an dark auburn. Good morning everyone,
Having great day today. The boss decided to close the school today so I don't have to go in to work!! However I did find out as I pulled in to the car park. So I stayed for a while as a few kids had arrived for a before school club so we had to phone around their parents to collect them. Then I went home. DH as had to go in (however his work shut early yesterday). So I am at home, there is snow everywhere but the sun is shining. So I guess my plan for the day is to chat on the dis, watch reality TV and generally relax.

I have to start rounding up birthday gifts for Daniel. Dh's birthday is tomorrow, that leaves 6 weeks until Daniel's. Three weeks from Daniel's is Holly's. If I don't start now, I'll never get it all done in time. Well the snow is slowly melting so it looks like I will be back in work tomorrow. Its 2pm now here and I have spent the day watching reality TV but doing work at the same time.

Cheeringmom I live in Northamptonshire in the midlands about 2 hours drive from London. Although I am origionally from Leeds so am a Yorkshire girl at heart.

I'm still being really thick here but could someone please tell me how to change peoples names into their colour. I keep trying but just get the words and the name of the colour in brackets around it!!

Thanks Cheeringmom I lived about 15 minutes from York if I went on the train when I was growing up. I love going there too.

If we are sharing what we look like i'm 5' 3 with brown hair and blond highlights and have blue eyes.

I guess it's time to think about what to have for tea here. I'm thinking lemon chicken stir fry at the moment. Not sure what to have for a pudding though!

Well I finally got a moderator to reply to my plea for assistance on the DB. The moderator doesn't see any direct reference to me, but he looked at my trip report, found the moonies and removed it (my report)! Apparently my cartoon booties are objectionable but attacking an innocent family that you don't know anything about is fine and dandy with the moderators. So be it. Removing my trip report was my objective anway. I just love when the victim becomes the accused.

A quick check-in before heading off to work

First, Danauk, I LOVE York! I was there for 3 days about 25 years ago and remember every minute of it (well, nearly). I have a beautiful watercolor of the Minster hanging on my wall.

Second, geffric has arrived safely in Scottsdale!

Third, [color=660099]TiggersPal[/color] doesn't know about her tag yet!!! heeeheee. I left her a voice mail on her cell phone (you don't DARE call her this early in the morning at home!)
