TiggerFans! OMG, yes....it is titled Crappy Response RE: Postcard/Email Update. It was just closed. Trekker hates me, even though I feel I have done nothing wrong.

BTW......Deeplyinluv I loved POTC. Bought it for DH for Christmas and I liked it better than he did. Wow......Orlando and Johnny make some mighty savvy pirates, eh?

Nephosaurus has still got a big head from that award......Seriously, don't be too sensative about what they say over there, they think that they are more moral and right than Michael Ei$ner...Or even Roy Disney!!!

In answer to [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]'s question, I work during the day so no soaps for me. I have it on good faith that Nieceosaurus has been caught watching General Hospital with her aunt Babeosaurus. The shows I watch are Alias, Kim Possible, and Lilo & Stitch. I will probably get hooked on Dave The Barbarian too.

Deadheadbelle, did you ever think of using Dis-Savers? If you are booking the hotel etc through Disney Travel, they can save you close to 10% (although I haven't seen the rebate check yet from our Halloween trip.) Let me know if you want more info, and I will be more than happy to publicly share the way to do it and the Details...

My favorite shows are: Alias, Charmed, Trading Spaces, I've been know to watch a little KP and I watch AMC once or twice a week.

I think the Resorts forums can get as bad as the DVC forums, huh? Sometimes it can get downright mean there as to who's resort is better and how many people you can cram into one unit.

I don't watch soaps cuz I work outside the home during the day three days a week. When I was a girl through college I did watch Another World. Favorite TV shows, Who's Line is it Anyway, Trading Spaces, Clean Sweep, House Rules, Crossing Over (me too about Dad passing!), any of The Travel Channel specials on Central Florida, and Monster House.

We have a lot of The Disney Channel and Nick on, too.

I guess it turned a little to ugly for the "friendly" resort board. You should hit the debate board, that is a barrel of laughs. Someone was just really mean to me over there. I don't know why I go there.

Tigger Fans!, That debate was actually on the Rumors Board. Someone was upset that they cut back the number of chicken fingers in the meal by one, there were several jokes about it.

Hey, Lewski709, please don't take this the wrong way, but I think you are a little off on your asessment of why they closed the thread. It looked to me like the moderator closed the thread because he was tired of the others on there beating up on you. I don't think he hates you, I think he was defending you (it is all a matter of perspective!!!! I like to see the positive). He said he wanted the bickering to stop, I take that as he saw they were ganging up on you; if he really did hate you he would have joined in. I don't mean to say anything wrong or bad to you, I would just much rather believe in the good nature of the moderators. Besides, I understand the TAG FAIRY is on good terms with th moderators and webmasters.....

OK, I gotta get back to work!!!!!

Quick post before I head to the gym and grocery store.

TV Shows: I should say everything on NBC since I work for an affiliate! But I watch a lot of home improvement/decorating/crafting shows, Angel (which I'll probably miss tonight!), I'm not doing much appointment TV right now, but I'll watch any Star Trek that's on as well as anything that involves swords! (Did anyone see the movie Timeline....Gerard Butler, yummm).

The MEN of LOR.... whish I could find a pic of Eomer without that blasted helmet (Karl....another yummmm). Also love Billy Boyd, but the accent could have a lot to do with it....men of Scotland, yummm again.

Our story....might not be a chapter tonight, if there is it will be quite late.....much to do tonight.

Gotta hit the gym now!

OK, I'm back...again.

Thank you guys so much for all of the warm welcome backs (welcomes back?)...uhhh greetings. It feels good to be missed...especially if someone is throwing something at you!

Anyway... for those of you asking about the $55 rate at Pop Century. I used the CTH code that was available to the general public. It was only good for travel between 1/1/04 and 2/11/04, but it unfortunately expired on 12/29/03. We were very happy to get it since we are not AP holders and don't really have access to any other types of discounts (until we become FL residents that is ).

Also, it took me three different CMs to actually get that rate for our entire stay. The first CM was the worst CM I have ever dealt with, the next one wasn't much better, but the third was incredible. I ended up spending a total of about 4 hours on the phone (luckily I was still able to use the old Disney Club 800 number!).

I'm so excited about staying at Pop Century. I love pop culture and have been saying I wanted to stay there since I first heard about it. Of course, if I was able to, my first two choices would be AKL or WL, but alas that is not possible. While I've gone inside several of the other resorts, I've never stayed at anything but a Value resort (Sports and Movies). We tried to get our last two nights at one of several other resorts but nothing was available at the reduced rate, so it didn't fit the budget. But that's OK! I'm excited to be staying at Pop within it's first month of operation.

Deadheadbelle, I feel bad for sounding so excited about going next week. I'm so sorry you had to postpone your trip.

All I can say is...... if a reduction in the number of Chicken fingers in a meal has become an earth shattering event to anyone ..... then maybe they should get out more???
