I just called the "general inquiries" number at the Dolphin. The gal who answered said there IS wifi in all the rooms.

I wish I had some way to confirm this prior to our arrival. I will not need a router if that's true. Anyone arriving before me that can let me know? We arrive 6/23.

Me too! Curious to know as we arrive the same day and when we were there in February we did not have wi fi.

Thanks - did you see the thread I started about it on the main board? I called the resort again and they say the rooms have wifi access. So confusing!
I just don't want to bring our brand new iPads and not be able to use them!

Hi everyone. I'm going to have my first stay at the Swolphin (Dolphin specifically) Oct 6-14th. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a few questions/concerns I have?

What towncar/shuttle service does anyone recommend for getting from MCO to the Swolphin?

What kind of toiletries are in the rooms? Do I need to bring showergel?
Can you still use the online dining reservation system? Does it recognize your Swolphin confirmation code?

When going to EMH do you have to show your Swolphin room card, since you don't have a KttW card?

and my last question is of a more boozy nature... Any good lounges/bar/hangouts?

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm really looking forward to the resort, after a less than spectacular on property resort experiance last time.

IMO bring your own shower gel - I always felt the soap bar in the bathrooms are too small

I just checked my special instructions and there is no mention of the Dinner Only requirement. I also purchased mine at the 70% off code.

I am curious, some people are posting that the cert expires in 1 year and my cert states "This Restaurant Gift Certificate does not expire." I am wondering if that was different for people who bought at 70% off and those who bought at 80% off. Dan, what does yours say? I believe you bought when the savings was 80% off? Thanks

Sorry this took so long. I got a 20% coupon for the Disney store today, that expires tomorrow, so of course, I had to go use it.

Anyway, this is the response I got from MrSwanDolphin re: wired or wireless internet in the rooms-

"Answer that I received from the Director of Rooms:
The rooms have both, they all have wireless and the hardwire was left in place as some people still prefer a wired connection."


So, there you have it, straight from the Swan's (or Dolphin, if you prefer) mouth.

I would post this on the restaurant board but I figured the regulars here might give me some insight. We are celebrating our 20th anniversary on our upcoming trip and I was looking at where we might eat a special meal on property at the S/D. I see that ds can spend a couple of hours at Camp Dolphin while we enjoy some adult time - lol.
So what do you guys think? Shulas (we seriously love a good steak) is the only one I am familiar with. But Bluezoo and the Il Mulino also look interesting too. Looking for some recommendations. Thanks!

Bought mine at 80% off and it said the same as yours. No expiration.

Okay, so my iphone obsessed dh is ordering the new iphone, but when it is scheduled for delivery we will be @ Dolphin. Is it possible to get it delivered there?
