Look at the rates, i see some rooms say "Deluxe" and others dont, whats the diffrence? Also, i think i now, but a Hollywood Bathroom is when it has a Sink/Vanity outside the bathroom door? Is there also one inside the bathroom?

I'm not really sure what the difference is between deluxe and non-deluxe. The question has been raised here many times, but no one seems to know. Probably best to ask the hotel directly.

The Hollywood bath at the Swan has a sink/vanity inside and outside the bathroom. One of the main reasons we prefer the Swan...just so much easier getting ready in the morning.

LOL, you mean....this???

Yep - that's the view!!! :headache: (now watch - that's what I'll get this weekend!!! LOL)

Rachel, when i was there at the end of May - I asked about the famous view. My friend, who works at Fresh, said that the back section in the picture was redone - so, you should not see that view again. Do let us know though!! :thumbsup2

It depends on the room. I've stayed in 3 different rooms at the Dolphin, and 2/3 of the rooms had a sink/vanity inside and outside the bathroom door. The standard double bed room was the one that just had 1 sink, outside the bathroom door. If you are booking a standard room, count on just one sink.

Has anyone booked one of the 2 bedroom Executive Suites with SPG points? Do you happen to know how many points you need per night? Wondering if it would make more sense than getting 2 separate rooms.
I figure some here have, maybe they will pop in here with some thoughts.
If I have Garden Grocer deliver to the Swan, will bell services accept the delivery for me? Do they have a refrigerator to keep perishables? Also does Swan bell services charge a fee for holding the packages for me?

TIA!
Pam :)
Not sure, maybe a call to guest services there will give you the answers. I know I have had packages delivered to the Swan for me.

You really had that view? Wow, and I believed my friend, who works there, when she told me they had dressed up the back view.
I stand corrected Tara!! Sorry to have mislead anyone.

I think dressed up means they built those little walls to hide stuff.

It was also noisy in the mornings. We would hear the beep, beep, beep as the trucks would back up after delivering stuff.

We had that dumpster view the first time we stayed at the Dolphin. I vowed not to go back there, but after a few months we tried again, and have had some rooms with great views. Never say Never!!:thumbsup2

This may have been asked before, but i didnt see it... What view category is the dumpster view rooms?
Also, do either of the resorts decorate for Xmas? Do either have the big Xmas tree? Is one better than the other?

THAT is what is still etched in my mind - BEEP BEEP BEEP at 6am!!! For some reason the Friendship Boat horns in the morning don't bother me - but big trucks in reverse beeping royally ticked me off!

I was there free on points when I had the dumpster view, which was most likely standard category.

OMG the Christmas tree in the Dolphin lobby is my favorite tree on all of WDW property!

wow, that is an awesome tree, that might be the deciding factor for choosing Dolphin over the Swan (justy DW and I so 1king bed is what we want).

That is a beautiful tree....with all our trips we have never been over Christmas. I bet that really has the "wow" factor when you walk in!

I *love* blue & white trees! In fact, it's the color scheme I use for my personal tree. But it doesn't look NEARLY as nice as this one! :)

Thanks for sharing the phots!
