Thanks, it's been a LONG wait, and it still hasn't completely sunk in that we're finally going NEXT WEEKEND! I purposely kept my schedule full these past few weeks to make the time fly and it worked; now I'm scrambling to figure out how I'll get everything done at the last minute!

Finally, you've been waiting for so long!!! So excited for you!!

I do the same thing...I keep a busy, busy schedule the last few weeks before our trip, then kinda freak a bit at the last moments making sure all is packed and taken care of. Oh well...all is good once we arrive at the resort and I can relax!!

That snake thread was scary . I had gone on my trip last month worrying about gators and lovebugs..never giving a thought to snakes. We were on the 3rd floor at the Poly..so I'd like to think we were safe. After actually being there..I feel a lot more philosophical about critters and more relaxed. We only ever saw 2 or 3 lovebugs..0 gators, many cute little lizards around the Poly and 0 snakes

I know it can vary between how many people and where they are headed, but I went a few years ago, and I didn't make note. Even a range would be appreciated. I just like to plan out how I'm going to keep the kids busy during that time.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate time on the Magic Express it takes to travel from the airport to the Poly? In my experience, it's taken close to 90 minutes from landing to get to the resort, but I've only got 2 experiences under my belt to share.

When we stayed at the Poly, we stood in line for 25 minutes before boarding the ME bus, but we were the first resort stop.

At the AKL, we boarded the bus right away, but we were the 3rd resort stop.

So both experiences ended up being the same time from start to finish, although one was a longer wait in line and the other was a longer bus ride.

I like to tell myself "2 hours" to be safe, but I think 90 minutes is more accurate. And remember, that's from LANDING to the resort, not the time it actually takes on the bus to the resort, so it doesn't seem quite as long as it sounds, IMO.

It took approximately 1 1/2 hours from the time our plane landed to arrival at the resort.

We took the ME last month and I think 90 minutes is about right. It was about what it took us, the lines were short at the airport and we pretty much got on the bus and waited just a short time til we left.

I love the Poly but it's so expensive! I know it's worth it but i'm hoping to get a discount with AAA and maybe i'll get lucky and get a PIN

Sorry, I'm getting excited, and just had to share! I'll probably be rather annoying as each day gets closer ....
