FOUND IT!!!! (Dole Banana )


It was under a thread called How about Pictures of Alcoholic drinks!!!

It's called the Pineapple Dream. They have it at the pool @ the Poly. It's Dole Whip + Souther Comfort + Butterscotch Schnapps + Captain Morgan. Yum!

Is the pool bar open in December? I would like to try one of these Pineapple Dreams.

the toiletries we got in the CL level last month were shampoo, conditioner, shower gel,lotion, soap, solar relief gel. Now that I'm home, I love using the lotion, especially..it smells great

Yes, but they close rather early. We were there last year Nov. 10-17 and they closed around 4-5pm each day which I thought was nuts, considering it was in the upper 70's/low 80's most days. There were times I would've enjoyed a tropical drink from there before going out to dinner, or while DD9 was swimming, but no luck.

Thanks! I never paid attention to the toiletries at the AKL or Poly - I wrongfully assumed they were the cheap stuff like I'd get at places like the Holiday Inn. But I've since read how great the H2O line is and would love to be able to leave that stuff at home because I always pack WAY TOO MUCH when I travel!

Thanks! I never paid attention to the toiletries at the AKL or Poly - I wrongfully assumed they were the cheap stuff like I'd get at places like the Holiday Inn. But I've since read how great the H2O line is and would love to be able to leave that stuff at home because I always pack WAY TOO MUCH when I travel!

That stuff is so good... I ordered it online to have here at home!!!

(Of course I have to pour it into the bottle that I bought at the Poly cause it has the Mickey design on it and the one from H2O doesn't... )

I thought I was the only person who did that... I have an old Mickey bottle from ages ago that I still use!

You have to keep the little bottles for travel and then keep filling them up with the stuff from H2O....

Definitely! While I don't use the shampoo and conditioner (they're lousy if you have thick or coarse hair), the shower gel and lotion are out of this world! I keep a few bottles in the guest bathroom at home and visitors go crazy about the smell.

If you go to Disney's Resort Collection website, you can buy the bottles with the Mickey heads. You can also buy from H20's website directly.

AKL has the H20 products now. All the deluxe resorts and DVC do...I think the mods too. Your trip is almost here!

Just got back yesterday from our first stay at the Poly and it will NOT be our last!!! We LOVED it!!!!

I can't write too much now - I'm buried under a pile of laundry but the highlights were an upgrade to a Magic Kingdom view when we arrived - nothing like watching the fireworks from our room!!!

We were in Tahiti - at first I didn't like that we were so far away from everything - but we were steps away from the TTC so we just went there for the monorail and even though we were far from the pool - no biggie since once we got there the kids didn't want to leave.

The kids loved the pool and slide!!! Me and DH loved the poolside bar!!!!

We did the luau on our first night - that was a bust. The kids were exhausted and the 5 year old even fell asleep so we ended up leaving early. Hated to lose those meal credits - but honestly - so many other great things happened that week we really didn't care!!!

I will update more later - I'm thinking of doing a trip report but still don't know how to post pictures!!!!

I'm glad you had a great time...I can't wait to read more about it!!! That viw upgrade sounds great! I love the Tahiti Longhouse...I request it whenever I get the chance to stay at the Poly...we love being so close to the TTC. I have only stayed in Garden View rooms, but I think Tahiti has some of the best LV rooms too.
