What services does the Club Level offer? I'm apologize if this is a dumb question but I've never the Poly before. I'm wondering what to expect?

Before you arrive the Polynesian IPO Cast Members (which are not the same ones you would see at the Polynesian) can plan your ADR's, purchase park tickets, book tours and much more. When your at the Polynesian their Club Level Cast Members can do those things if you needed some more ADR's done and besides that you should take advantage of things offered in their lounge. Here are two links with various pictures taken by SeaSpray of their lounge and the foods they offer.

I never understood the point of this perk. What's the difference between me calling the Club Level CM to make my ADRs, etc, and calling the Dining CM to do the same thing? Do Club level people get preference over the rest of us peons when making ADRs or something?

I wouldn't wait until check-in. Your chances of getting it are questionable. I would call as soon as you can (or makes sense payment-wise, I dont know how it works with the registry card). You dont need to pay for a room package until 45 days before the trip. I would guess that you have time between now and Sept, but you never know.:confused3

I agree! We tried to do this the last trip but they were full. Should've done it lwhen we were thinking about it instead of waiting.

There are some guests who would like others to make their ADR's for them. Also even though the IPO Cast Members use the same computers as the regular dining Cast Members which means they can not control of a location is sold out, what they can do is keep trying for that ADR or another one.

The difference is that I can call the IPO office today, tomorrow, whenever I want to and let them know which ADRs I want. Then, at the 180 day mark, THEY make the ADR for me. This means I dont have to wake up at 4am to call and get just what I want. They'll put it in their system and book it as soon as it's open.

When they've made them all, they print the list out for you.

If you wait until everything is booked, then, no, they cant really help you with that.

I have heard that they do have some preferential booking windows at the resort you're staying at, however.

To me, this has been really nice, but the real perk is having the lounge with the food & drinks available all day.

Leaving on Sunday for the Poly and can't wait. I have not packed a thing... Mainly getting ready for a huge party for Mom 60th tomorrow! It wil be all good. :thumbsup2

DH and I loved grabbing a beer or two and sitting on the beach watching the fireworks.

Such a simple joy but forever memorable in our minds. This is our plan the first eve we get there since there is an MVMCP planned.

Poly here we come :cool1:

Thanks a bunch for this info!

I'm going to the Polynesian April 26th to May 3rd, 2009 for my honeymoon! I can't wait to stay there. It's been about 20 years since my last stay at the Poly! :wizard:

Wow, I really didn't know this about concierge. Granted I'm pretty much a control freak and like to make my own ADRs, it would be nice to have someone make them for me in this manner. Yet another point for considering a CL stay in the future. :thumbsup2

Congrats on the upcoming trip! Hope your Mom has a wonderful and blessed 60th! :goodvibes

And the fireworks on the beach. :cloud9: I know my DD9 and I are so looking forward to watching Wishes, Holiday Wishes and the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks from the Poly beach for Christmas. It's such a wonderful feeling, isn't it? :goodvibes

Thanks! That puts my mind at ease. I had visions of my boys running around filthy all week. :scared1:

You're welcome! :thumbsup2 My DN9 loved the tub at the Poly, especially with all the theming around him. I had to 'evict' him from the tub so many times or we would have wound up late for our ADRs--he loved it that much.

Hi everyone, we are going to the Poly in March, (this will be our second stay there), Can anyone tell me if they still have that yummy alcoholic punch in the Concierge lounge? (not the "juice" that is always out, this was put out at the 5pm time..

In order to get to Downtown Disney from the Poly-which is faster -catching a bus at the hotel's bus stop or walking over to the TTC?

Catch a DTD bus at the Polynesian bus stop.

There isn't a DTD bus at the TTC.

But drive if you will have a car.;)

Have fun everyone going so soon!:cool1:
