And it's probably posted somewhere....but...
Do all Poly Club Level rooms have 2 Queen Beds and one pullout?
Travelling with a 10 year old girl and a 14 year old boy...son will not sleep with dad, so...we need that pull-out, lol!

With the exception of the suites, I believe all rooms at Poly have 2 queen beds and a day bed.

:surfweb:
All rooms do have 2 queen size beds. However, that does not include the Hawaii bldg (suites). There are some king size beds available there.
Ex: Honeymoon suite. Kinda makes sense. Doesn't it? :rotfl:

Suites are in the Tonga building :) And yes, some of the suites have king beds. :) It'd be nice to be able to book a king bed for the Hawaii building though... maybe eventually they'll add some king beds there. (I may have dreamt this somewhere, but I *think* I remember reading that they're considering adding some king bed rooms to Hawaii?? Anyone else hear anything about this??? :confused3 )

Oops!
I said Hawaii bldg. I meant the Tonga bldg.

I can't wait until our trip in March! Poly LVC here we come!!

I'm just wondering, what kind of coffee do they serve in the Concierge Lounge? Is it your run of the mill WDW Nescafe?!

TIA!

Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Polynesian. We really enjoyed staying here. We had a second floor room in Aotearoa #2210. We loved being in this building as we were so close to the GCH. With the two 6 year olds and a 4 year old, it was very convenient for the monorail, Capt Cooks, and the pool. From our window we could see the monorail. But honestly, we were hardly in the room except to sleep, whether that was at night or during the day, so any view would have been a non-factor for us.

Anyway, got a million things to do, but wanted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Yes, it's from the Nescafe machine in the lounge. We don't find it to be bad at all, but of course it doesn't compare to the Kona Coffee found at the Kona Cafe.

It's great to read that you all had a great time. :thumbsup2

We will be goign to Poly next Sept. We just stayed at GF this past Sept for our anniversary. It was the first trip without our children. It was absolutely wonderful.
I had requested a king size bed (seeing we were without the kiddies lol) We ended up getting upgraded to RPC. It was amazing. We found out when we got off the magic express bus.
Does Poly ever give upgrades like that? I have been lurking around the Poly sites but have never really read about anyone getting a surpirse upgrade. Just wondering if it happens and if it does what are the upgrades? Are they to certain houses or RPC etc?
Thanks for the info.

Hi! We were up graded last month from a GV to Club L. GV in Hawaii when we checked in:yay: . I posted all about my trip several pages back including pics. It was just DH and I and we loved staying conceriege. It was a great surprise and were very spoiled the whole week. I don't know how often it happens, maybe one of the Poly experts like Seaspray or Tess will check in with that info:goodvibes You will love the Poly.

Upgrades at the Polynesian are like all of the other resorts--sometimes there is a bit of pixiedust: sprinkled over unsuspecting guests. There is no rhyme or reason to the upgrades, just a matter of the resort (perhaps) being overbooked in one category and not so much the other. I have heard of people being bumped to a lagoon view from a garden view, theme park view to lagoon view concierge, garden view to garden view concierge, etc.

There was a flurry of upgrading going on earlier this year (late summer), but I haven't read too many upgrade reports recently. You just never know when the tiki gods will smile upon you at the Polynesian--or the other resorts for that matter. :worship:

Just booked my first trip to the Poly for July! I am having second thoughts about not booking Club level though. I thought it was too much money so decided to book the deluxe dining plan instead of using the lounge for a meal everyday. Did I make the right choice? Should I change to club level? Is it worth the extra money?:confused3

Let me preface this by saying it is only my opinion. :goodvibes Worth is relative.

All my stays at the Poly have been either GV or LV without club level. I'd thought about going club level but for myself and my family, we really couldn't take advantage of it the way we would like. My DD8 likes to either hit the parks as soon as they open, or have fun in the pool or other activities going on at the Poly. As it is just the two of us, we just have the deluxe dining plan and it works great for us! :thumbsup2

Other Poly CL experts will chime in with their thoughts. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! :thumbsup2

Aotearoa is a nice building in a great location, especially if you have little ones. :-)

I recieved my first pin code and finally booked at the Poly with a 40% discount:cool1: :cool1:
I booked a GV and asked for a king bed as it will be "just the two of us" for an early anniversary trip. What are my chances to get a King room?

Very slim, but congrats on the 40% discount, that's incredible!! I'm jealous!! :lmao:

That is GREAT! Talk about 'pixie dust'! :goodvibes

I'm not sure but be sure to note it on your ressie. Plus when you check in, I find being extra nice and just being 'happy to be at Disney' really makes the CMs want to go that extra mile for you. Good luck! :thumbsup2

Well, you booked a GV, all rooms at the Poly have queen beds. The suites are the only ones with King beds, you would have to be upgraded to the "honeymoon suite". I have never read of anyone being surprised with an upgrade to a suite. Normally your view or possibly to the Hawaii longhouse for concierge is the upgrade - and rare. You will love the Poly!
