The Poly pool has a sitting area with jets - but it is NOT heated, or no more so than the rest of the pool (if it is). Just seating with jetted, bubbly water.
I believe Poly guests can use the GF SPA's hot tub, not the regular hot tub(s?) by the pools.
HTH!!
Does anyone know if you can have cookies or a small cake (or something similar) delivered to the room? I want to thank my parents for letting us stay at the Poly. If not, any suggestions are appreciated.
There is a "cake thread" on the restaurants board, with tons of info on ordering cakes in The World.
If you like to people watch from your GV room, I would not enjoy Aoteroa, but that would just be my opinion. I find something of value to any of the others, but would also not enjoy certain sides of some.
Check out the resort map: http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/PolynesianMap.pdf and see if anything jumps out that you would dislike about a certain building.![]()
2) How far ahead do the resorts assign rooms and can we call ahead to see where we are being place?
They will not be able to tell you what room you are being assigned to until you check in. If you check in and the room is not available yet, they won't even tell you the room location until it's actually READY.
So there is no way of knowing ahead of time where you'll be assigned.
They do work on room assignments a few days before arrival, but that info is not released because it's subject to change at any moment and not guaranteed.
The best you can do is make a request and hope that it's granted.
Questions,
1) We are going to request (through our TA) a standard room at the
"NIUE" or "Samoa".
In the event we do not get into either of those place and end up with a parking lot view ( We would like to be able to have a garden view),and get put in a building such as "Rapa Nui", is it THAT bad and that out of the way?
I just don't want to be disappointed.

Thanks for the help!![]()
I find nothing wrong with Rapa Nui, Tahiti, or Tokelau. Aoteroa is the only longhouse I would probably reject because, for me, it is kind of off the beaten path. Now, if you like that solitude, the parking lot side (for lack of a better term) of Aoteroa would probably be quite nice and you can watch the monorail glide by too.
Thanks. That is sooo cool! I never realized or thought about that ( never stayed at Poly before)

KTeacher so glad you enjoyed it! We stayed LVCL in May and had a fabulous time! Details, please (when you're ready of course)
