Thanks for the wonderful pics!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone! I know that as I was planning my trip I LOVED looking at Poly photos, so I am glad that I now have some to share with all of you.

Honestly I wish I had taken more photos, but I really had my hands full with the kids!

Kira, great pictures. Thanks for posting them. I agree that your family is lovely and that Epcot picture is soooo cool!

Welcome back everyone! What's new at the Polynesian?

Kira G: Thanks for the pics! I just linked to your 2 posts containing pictures of your room and view in Rapa Nui :)

So, it's looking like we will be at the Poly either the end of October or the beginning of December.:cool1: Too bad it's not until 2009 though.

Unfortunatley this means the Magic Kingdom will be closing early most nights during our stay for the parties. But, hey, I can deal with that as long as I'm in WDW!

Anyway, do they still pipe in the music at the Poly's beach for the special fireworks during the Holloween/Christmas Parties?

Yes!
They still pipe in music. But it can not be heard equally throughout the resort. the best places to hear the music seem to be the beach area near the volcano pool and/or the pool bar.
I've been told that if you go up the beach towards "the point" too far, you can't hear the music.

JR, I don't recall the music being played during the special parties?:confused3

It's still fun to see the fireworks though.:cool1:

:cool1: Oh Yes! We are paid in full so Poly I am coming home!!!!

I am so looking forward to this trip. Last year our dog passed away right before we left and I also lost my Grandma over the summer so we were in a haze. We had a great time though but I feel I will go with a clearer head this time!

I really am not sweating the small stuff like room locations and crowds. We missed a lot last time and of course have all the Christmas stuff to see. We are also the type that stays around the resort a lot. We like to siesta in the afternoon and what a better place than the Poly pool!

Anyone else going to be at the Poly 12/7 to 15th with us?

Oops!
I was thinking of "Wishes"
Bear with me, I seem to be getting older every year. :lmao:

Hi Breezysmom - we will be there during the exact same dates! I am almost starting to think it will actually happen. We will be surprising our twin DDs 5 the day before we leave. It will be their first visit - My DH and I haven't been in 8+ years!! We also don't really care where we stay - I think our only request is for a balcony or patio. (Just want a place to sit when the girls nap or sleep at night). It would be fun to run into your family by the pool some afternoon.

Are the beds comfy???

And what all channels do the TV's pic up? I know there was a list somewhere but alas...I forgot.
