River City Youth Ballet (this is the company my dd dances with) is doing Fire & Ice (the Firebird & The Snowman) next weekend Nov 19 at 7pm, Nov 20 at noon at the Cultural Center Theater. And it's going to be a crazy 16 days, or at least through next weekend!!

those of you making shirts, do you find designs on here then somehow convert them to iron ons?
I'd love to find something with the five in Star Wars gear, ya know Mickey as Luke, Minnie as Leah etc.? I know I've seen something like that at some point somewhere, I'd honestly rather have it as a magnet on my car but can't figure that out either. Have any of you seen anything like what I'm talking about anywhere that you can point me to?

If you go to the Creative DISigns forums, there are TONS of designs already done up, but if you can't find what you're looking for, one of the DISigners will customize something for you!

The car is packed!!! Now just waiting on time to pass. We are leaving late Tonight. I really need to take a nap as i will be doing most of the driving.

Last night after showers as my girls were brushing out their very long hair they said a week from tonight is the last time they will have to do that. A week from this morning is our first day in the parks, MK, and we have appointments at Harmony Barber Shop for them to cut all their hair off for Locks Of Love.

DD10 wants to do that, but we never thought of having it cut at MK!!! She's donating her hair in memory of my Mom, who died of breast cancer in August. We wanted DD to have "long hair" pics at WDW, but now I'm excited to mention this to her

We arrive Sunday, Disney Destinations sent me a reminder to do my online check in, but the system won't work for me. Three tries, triple checked all the info, nada.

First the ADR snafu now this. With all the money that company has, you'd think they could get their act together.

We arrive Sunday too. I've been trying for the last five days to check in online. I finally called and they said the system won't be back up until Tuesday! Wow in less then 48 hours we will be in DISNEY!!

My DD11 did it last time we were in Disney at the Barber Shop, it made it extra special. We did have to seperate the pixie dust from the ponytails in the bag, but it was worth it!

This is her DD11's time doing it and DD8's 2nd time and my DD16 has done it 5 times as well (her's isn't long enough to do it again this time.) I did it once, but it took me sooooo long cause I had to wait till all the highlights were completly grown out and cut off to start to grow it.

It's a beautiful thing to do, Disney made it a little more special but always when they do it it is special. I am sure grandma would be very honored and proud!

We're back! We had gorgeous weather. No Rain the entire time!
Wait times were almost nonexistent. Even in the middle of the day, most attractions had less than 30 minute waits. TSMM fast passes were for 3pm at 10am though...which was expected.
The World Showcase was packed while we were there. It was a Monday, so I was a bit surprised. We thought we would return for more Epcot time later, but didn't because of two things A) it was packed and B) Epcot was our bad bus park (for our last on-property trip it was DHS, so we knew not to waste the time)

Caribbean Beach was wonderful. We're glad that we tried a Moderate. I'm sure we'll return there again some day. I'm supposed to start planning a trip for next year at the Wilderness Lodge though.

Printed our boarding passes, got better seats on the plane. I'm almost finished packing now, just a few last minute things. We'll bring the dog to the kennel late this afternoon, get to sleep early (I hope!) and be in the car on the way to the airport at 5 a.m. Eeek.

We are leaving the house at 4:30 tomorrow morning yuck!!! I checked in for our flight this morning and my husband and son are on the same confirmation # and were checked in together yet there #s aren't next to each other. We fly SW so it's not an issue but inwas surprised. The only good thing about my son having peanut allergies is it falls under medical preboard so I get to go on before regular boarding to wipe and clean our seating area, so pretty much first choice of seats.

Welcome Back ! I was just thinking this morning that if we had not had to cancel this years trip, we be flying home today. Why do vacations go by so darn fast ?
