I think my hubby is *finally* beginning to get excited about it as we've been talking about our trip alot today. What we're going to do that first night, where we're going to stay before checking into POP etc.

Hey everyone!

Fairly new here so I hope I'm posting this correctly.

My sister, brother, and I are going for a kid-free (well at least we're over 18) trip in just 21 days!!!! He has never been so it will be like taking a child for the first time....although I can't convenience him he has to skip down main street. Anyways.....

Anticipation is fun! I found an option last night that can change the shutter speed. It's called "BURST." it is off but if you turn it on it does speed up the shutter. I am having lots of fun playing with it! My poor God Daughter is being tormented by me while I figure out the options... actually it's pay back for her playing hair salon and taking picture of me with very interesting hairstyles....

Thanks for the tip! I can just see DDs face now, she'll be thrilled I get to 'practice' on her when it comes in. Take a pic of a Dole Whip for me...to make sure they havent sold out ! Now thats my Disney nightmare. We'll be 26 days behind you!

Mazel Tov!!!! That means congratulations! What wonderful news! Does Disneymom 88 mean that you were born in 1988? My DD22 was born in 1988! Our first family trip to Disney was in 1990! And boy have things changed.

Looks like you can skip the roller coasters and Tower of Terror... but 2 Dole Whips for you!!!

We are almost down to single digits... My daughter is six and this will be her first trip. I cannot wait! Any clothing advice for November weather? I have been in November... but not for ages!

Well we go a few weeks later then you but for clothes, we usually start the morning early so we wear a sweatshirt some days but with shorts and t-shirts. During the days it is quite nice, never need the sweatshirt. If you stay late enough it can get chilly, we have our hoodies and leggings for me and the girls who get cold easier. We don't always need them, but the one time 2 years ago I didn't bring them (I had carried them like 4 nights and didn't need them) we were in EPCOT and they were freezing and we had ADRs for Coral Reef we didn't want to miss so I had to buy the girls all pants. They were so expensive I wound up buying them all pajamas and they wore the fleece pants. I am sure we looked silly but it was a big savings, like $20 a girl times 3 it was worth it. I have always carried our leggings since. Sometimes they need them and sometimes they don't.

The weather is so beautiful this time of year, not too hot!

Dress in layers. I always bring a backpack and someone will become the pack mule during the day.

Oooohh...warm up on the 6th! Look at the low, it's only 72! Looks perfect for our first full day in the park. I can't wait to eat at Liberty that evening and then watch the parade and see fireworks!
