Anyone know when they turn the castle icicle lights on? I am assuming it starts Nov 8th. Are they on every night? At a certain time? Between Osbourne Lights, Illuminations, Fantasmic, and a night at Hoop-Dee-Doo, I don't know how I'm supposed to see it all! Ha Ha!

Anyone gotten any good ideas for decorations in their rooms? I want some cute lights for my window. And debating about a small tree.

My decorations aren't holiday items. I have cut outs from Dollar Tree of animals for our AK day, pirate items for pirate day (Pirates League & Pirate & Pal cruise), birthday cut outs for DS birthday, some invitations & signs from the wonderful DISigners.

Just made an appointment for DS at Harmony Barbershop!

Just stumbled on this thread, how could I have missed it! A big group of us, family and friends, will be visiting Disney November 13-20, Poly Resort. There will be eight of us, five adults and three little ones. I love planning vacations and Disney is so much fun to plan, so many options!

We are on the Dlx DDP so we have lots of ADRs.

Those Castle lights have to be one of the best sights in the whole world! I could stand there all night and look at them! I always try and burn the image into my brain and go there when I need a "happy place".

Thank you for the welcome! I am worried we should not have done the Dlx dining plan and made so many table service reservations, I have gone back and forth many times. My husband finally said stop worrying about it, you're driving me crazy! He says, if we don't like it then we'll know better next time. So we're keeping them all!

Less than 6 weeks to go now! I just ordered princess costumes for my girls, one for Halloween and another for a surprise gift from Cinderella. Anyone used the Little Dress Up Shop before? Now to find fancy gift boxes that will either ship well or pack well in the suitcase. Does anyone have any suggestions? So excited to find this thread! I love to share the planning process and I think my friends have had enough of my chatter about it, ha ha!

Sounds like your time for Chef Mickey is better than what I have, this is the one ressie that I already know I made a mistake with the time. We are there at 7:35pm. When I made the reservation for some reason I didn't see that Wishes was at 8pm that night, one of the few nights we are there with early fireworks. By the time I found out and tried to switch, the earlier times were booked and I don't want to give up a Chef Mickey dinner. Soooo, long story long, we might see you on your way out to catch Wishes!

And then........................... the dreams that send you into an all out panic over the scheduled daily plans

The picture of the Castle Lights posted on here yesterday ended up having a lasting impression on me as I lay sleeping last night

I had a dream of DS and Ddil expressing their desire to see the Castle Lights and Wishes, you see DH and myself are doing the MVMCP the night DS and Ddil are doing HDDR, they did not want to shell out the $$$ for party tickets and DH and I did not want to go to HDDR this year since we did it last year with DS who is in heaven now. I had another day scheduled for MK but since it is on a party night, planned on leaving mid afternoon before the castle lights

So now I am going over how I can switch days around, there is one night if I make it our 2nd MK day we can see the Castle Lights, Wishes and the Electrical Parade

Now I wonder about ADR changes and there is no way I can see to change and still be able to see Fantasmic which I do not care about anyhow, I want to see OL but I have to see Rick Springfield one of the nights he is at Epcot and I already bought our tix for MVMCP so can not change that day or the one Epcot day since I commited to the Illuminations Cruise

Hmm are there Park Hoppers in our future? We had not planned on them this trip but maybe we will have to get them after all

Back to the drawing board

WOW!!! That's a lot to take in.

Mind you I feel your planning pains already - First day plans are a bit of a stretch for us but we're troopers and I'm sure with the surprise of going to Disney for DS10 he'll have enough energy.

7:30 Check-in CSR
9:30 ADR - Boma
11:00 Off to DHS - Stick around for Fantasmic
7:30 Off to MK for MSEP and Wishes and evening EMH til 1 AM if we last, or as long as we last. I think DW may cave some where around 11 or so .. let's just hope that it's 11 at night at least

So exited! This will be my first time seeing the Castle at Christmas time!

Our first time too.

Last year we went in Oct and it was the first time to ever see the Fall/Halloween decorations.

I feel so blessed to get to see the Christmas stuff this year. Very much looking forward to seeing the castle in real life!

I KNOW I am so bad at being MIA.. but my gosh.. how crazy busy we get when school starts.. CCD classes, Soccer, Cross country, games/meets on the weekends, and I am trying to train for the Disney 1/2 Marathon in Jan.. its nuts!!

I was wondering if we wanted to get a list together of when and where everyone is going to be each day.. on my TGM Nov group (which I rarely visit too! ) has this cool list that shows what parks everyone is going to be in each day.. maybe we'll be able to spot more people that way?

Here is my itinerary.
11/5 - arrival day.. maybe MK or EC
11/6 AK

11/8 Epcot
11/9 Rest day
