Ok, I've been either pathetic or obsessive today. I actually got one of our carry-on suitcases down from the attic for a "practice packing"

Good news - 5 days of clothing for DH & I fit into one not very well packed carry-on!

Its been a great week for me this week. We hit 99 days, I got to go swimming, finished school shop, and today.... We bought a Swagger Wagon! A 2011 Silver Sky Toyota Sienna SE. I LOVE IT! I had a 08 Sienna, but when they changed the body style this year, it caught my eye. I had planned to keep it 2 more years, but I couldn't wait! Got a great deal too. Walked out paying $2000 less then sticker, even after financing, taxes, etc!

So this year, we will be crusin' to Disney in our Swagger Wagon!

And incase you are wondering why I keep calling it a Swagger Wagon, watch this video. And try not to laugh....

I sat here grinning as I read your post, I bought a new suitcase this year and I have been thinking of doing just what you did since the day it arrived but instead have just continued sticking things into my old one as I pick items up for the trip so no I don't think your pathetic or obsessive just in the I am excited and can not wait mode

Very cute video and congrats on the new car!!! I really had the bug a few months ago...but it passed!! Ha!!! I would take one,but mine is still great and I would just buy exactly what I have now...so I guess I should wait!!!

I'm sorry to just now update. I'm just copying some of my post from the thread about my Mom...http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=37654095#post37654095

We are so thankful for your prayers. My sweet Mom went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Aug.1st. Our family was so blessed to be able to visit with Mom & tell her how much we loved her. We all (about 15 of us) went in individually to talk to her. She was so ready to go see Jesus face-to-face! She kept us up until 3:30 Sat morning cracking jokes & making all of us laugh. It was probably the funniest night of my life. We never knew she was such a comedian!

We prayed for God's Will & it was hard to not pray "Fix her! Heal her!" I miss my Mom SO much, but I cannot describe how wonderful it feels to know that she is praising Jesus face-to-face!! God answered our prayers & relieved Mom of her pain---even though the Hospice doctor & nurses suspected she'd make it several more days. God is SO good

She requested that her funeral would be a happy celebration & it was! We've had TONS of people call & write to us saying that was the best, happiest funeral they've ever attended. I'm just SO thankful we made it to see the whales. Love to you all, Angela

My mom got some bad news on Friday. They have suspended her chemo infefinitely. She's been having some symptoms that require her to get a CT of her brain this week. We'll get results on Friday. It's is very hard not to worry, but we know that whatever happens is the way it is supposed to be. We trust God's plan.

Good morning November friends

I feel like I haven't talked to everybody in forever, when in-fact it's only been a few days!! We are just back from a weekend in Hershey and Gettysburg. We had a really nice time, but are all very tired and I have a ton of laundry to do!

We really love the area out there. It is about a 4 hour drive from here and we usually go out about once a year. We actually didn't even do Hersheypark this time. It is just always so hot and crowded and there are no fastpasses, so we decided to skip it! We went to Chocolate World Friday http://www.hersheys.com/chocolateworld/ . We just spent the evening at the hotel that night, that kids swam for over 2 hours. They were excited to show DH everything they had learned in their swimming lessons last week. Then we went to Gettysburg for the day Saturday. Never been there before. DS11 learned all about the Civil War last year in 5th grade and really wanted to go there. The rest of us weren't too excited about it, but it was actually very interesting. I'm glad we went.
