Does anyone else do a 100 day countdown calendar? I'm going to do some more work on mine today. I usually just make a big chart on poster board and put stickers on each day, but this year I'm going to make a really nice one with velcro on the numbers so I can use it again.
I know 100 days seems like a lot, but we are always amazed at how quickly it goes!!

We are doing a 38 day countdown! :rotfl: My daughters 4th birthday is in September and we have been telling her since January that when she is 4 we will go to Disney World. So our official countdown will be revealed and begin with her birthday! I can't believe we are almost at the 100 day mark! I remember thinking "Only 11 more months until our next Disney trip!" Ha Ha!

We are headed to North Carolina tomorrow for a week of much needed R&R!

I'm not as crafty as some of you. We always mark down the days from 100 on our family calendar. The kids get a kick out of telling us how many days we have left.

QOTD: We've never been to a water park at WDW. Kids have always been happy with the resort pools.

App.'t went well yesterday but was a bit unnerving. The tech took 2 films and radiologist looked at them and requested another film.:sad2: I was told that the doctor would give me the results before I left. The doctor looked at it and told me everything looked great. I'm just thankful that she was very thorough.:)

Congrats on the great news!!!

My ticker is now in the 3's. :woohoo:

Going on a float trip this weekend. We are doing a 17 mile trip in MO. Weatherman says it is going to be HOT. Will be a great time!!

I have no desire what.so.ever!! to ever do a cruise. I have a huge phobia of being on a boat in the middle of the ocean. I am not a big fan of the ocean to begin with. I only go in to my knees and that is when the kids force me to go that deep. Have you seen some of the creatures that live in the ocean??? :scared1:

With that said, the girls and DH all REALLY want to do a Disney cruise. I am considering it. My TA said the short cruise you can see the coast the majority of the time. I think that would help. It would give me a goal to swim to if something went wrong. LOL

QOTD:
We've never done a water park either, we still had a pretty little one last time that has really just learned to swim really well this summer. However, we won't be doing one in November either, maybe next time!

I guess I should've introduced myself when I joined a few pages back.:confused3:rotfl:

I'm Jennifer & we came in 2006 as a 'once in a lifetime trip' :rotfl: we were back in 2008 & are coming in November. We weren't supposed to make it this year because the hubby & I have already done a week in Hawaii alone this year but I kept begging especially once free dining was extended! I've always wanted to see all the :santa::santa: decorations & I think he'll enjoy the cooler temperatures.

Oh and as for the countdown? The kids & I have already started I counted out the days when we booked, then marked 120 on the calendar & will mark 100 etc. as we turn it to August. Can you say excited? :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I so hope the crowds are less then we are used to in September or dh might not be too happy with me for pushing the issue :rolleyes1

 Our once in a lifetime WDW trip was in 2005, and we are now approaching trip number 6!!!! :goodvibes:cool1::lmao:

Just a quick knee update: Got my stitches out this morning, have some stretching exercises I can do at home, one more visit with the surgeon in 4 weeks and I'm good! YAY! He told me I can swim starting today, we're going to the beach early next week for a few days and I cannot wait to get in the water again. :) By the time November comes around I'll be good as new. Whew.

That's great news!! :goodvibes

I'm in! Nov. 13-20!!!! Staying at AKV in a Standard View, as all the Savannah views were gone.

ADRs
Nov. 13 Lunch San Angel Inn (I know, ridiculous to book that this far out, may change to the new Mexican place, if it's up and running by then).
Nov. 14th BF Kouzzina
Nov. 15th Lunch Le Cellier:yay:
Nov. 16th BF Crystal Palace 8:05am
Nov. 17th BF Boma
Nov. 18th Dinner Ohana
Nov. 19th 50's PT

I'd love to add T-rex somewhere in there but with only 1 week in WDW, I don't see much time for DTD.

See you DIS'ers there!!!

:p Only because you get to swim before me! I've got atleast 2 more weeks before I can hit the water. ;)

Glad you are healing quick. :thumbsup2

That's great that you are feeling so much better.

:cheer2: Yahoo to everyone who is feeling better or got good news from the Dr.! :cheer2:

If you are flying Southwest, you might want to check your prices. I just saved $258. I had a second $25code from visitflorida.com/share. Freaked me out to cancel a flight & then rebook. I only had to call Southwest twice to make sure what I was doing :lmao: But wonderful savings! It will cover the extra night & extra day of the meal plan and then some! :woohoo:

What do you mean by a second $25 code?I went to the sight and did not see it , could you give me the code or a link. We are flying SW and with a large group that would really help. Did SW charge you to cancel and rebook? Thanks so much this has me even more excited , with that kind of savings we might be able to do MNSSHP:yay: Jenn.

At the time I originally heard about the code from visitflorida.com/share, I was unsure if it was 1 code/person or 1 code/purchase. It is one code/purchase, so I ended up with 1 code too many. I gave one to a cousin & had one left. Didn't think anything about it until I saw the $49 sale from Southwest. Went to the SW site, put the extra code in & tah dah 3 flights for about $103 per person, including taxes! :wizard:

SW will give you a credit when you change or cancel flights (not sure if it is all flights). I actually had to cancel & rebook because of the code. There isn't a way to enter a new code when you are changing a reservation. There was no charge, but if you did early bird check-in, you loose that money when you cancel. I am not sure if you lose it when you only change. So, I have a $258 credit with Southwest. To me, I saved $258. I don't really mind not having the cash in hand since I know I'll be using it. Kind of like a future WDW trip savings account :thumbsup2

On visitflorida.com/share, you send an ecard to someone & SW sends a promo code. I can't remember if the code comes to you or the person you sent the card to. It takes about 2 weeks for the whole ecard/SW process to happen. I sent one to myself, one to my husband & one to my son.

You are the GREATEST:worship:I figured it out on the site and am now sending emails. I hope we can cancel and rebook with ease, did the Southwest agent guide you through the whole thing? I thing worrying me is we are a large party of 19 and have already booked my flight so I am worried about them charging a fee for canceling, but they did not do that to you right.

No fee for canceling. The multiple SW agents were very helpful. One canceled my reservation while I was on the phone with her & helped me through the rescheduling steps while I was online.

You are a brave woman travelling with 19 people! Good luck! :wizard:

You were able to re-book 19 people on the same flight without some people having to take another flight?! With how booked flights are these days... wow.. that is amazing!:worship:
