We had to cut it a day short, Nov. 29-Dec. 4 rather than the 5th. :( Some people have to be home on Sunday. But I'll just get us a later flight on Saturday. :)

Thanks for keeping up with everything and everyone! :flower3:

I had added a day , then ended up canceling since flights home on Sunday were so high, but did the same have a 6:30 am flight going and a 7:45 pm flight home so that gives us 6 full days.

I'm going to get the 7:45 a.m. flight to MCO from Newark and then the 5:15 or 6:30 p.m. home so, like you, we'll get the 6th day.

The November list sure has grown :)

::yes::

I just put a deposit on 11/13-20. We are going to try BC for the first time! Now I need to hit the dining review threads and plan our itinerary. :cool1:

WELCOME!! :goodvibes

YAY for the BC! :cool1:

Hey Shelly...I am not leaving until the 21st...if it's a big deal to change it don't worry about it...just wanted you to know..but as long as my arrival date is good then I don't care!! LOL

Yes, don't go changing your arrival date! :thumbsup2 Can't wait for our meet!!

Hi, we're going 4-18 November staying at CBR, can't wait. Been November before but first time stopping at CBR.

:welcome: CBR is great ~ My favorite!! (So far!)

We are staying Nov 27 to Dec 3 at OKW. Very excited, first time all 5 of us get to go. Any tips for ages of 15,8, and 4? Think we might have hard time getting all on same page.

Glad to have you and congrats on your first family Disney trip!!! It will NOT be hard meshing you all together!! My kids ages start at 14 and go down to 10 and 7....not too much different than your span(between the younger 2 anyway)...best advice as far as that goes is RESEARCH! Get a good guide book and start looking at what everyone might want to do...some times my dh and ds14 split up from us just for a bit so we can do different rides....or the little one goes with them and me and the middle kid hang out!!!! She is more of a daredevil than ds10 so it works out great! That's another great thing about this time of year...you can take time to find what everyone likes and do rides over that are favorites. Just remember that you can't do it all in one trip!! do what looks fun and don't worry about changing up your plans if you need to....be flexible!! If you have specific questions we would looove to answer them!!! You picked a great time to join this thread! Lots of time to plan!!!

Morning ladies!!!
I am at 200 days today!!!! yay me!:cheer2: Of course, I don't get really excited til I am at double digits, then the 30 day mark really gets me going!! Ha!!! Ok...so, I posted this on a couple of other threads I am on and want opinions from fellow November travelers. Are any of you considering NOT doing the Magical Express? I love the free-ness of it and the no hassling suitcases...but really....allllll that waiting when I just want to get there!! Really, the lines the last 2 trips....during value season and supposedly slow weeks...were horrible!!! Like, well over an hour in line and waiting for the bus! Then we have to wait for them to load all the luggage, then drop off to other resorts....I am cheap as the next girl...but considering forking out the $$ and just being on my way once my luggage is ready on the carousel. Opinions? Oh..and this is the 4th or 5th time we will have used ME....and the lines just keep getting longer, and longer, and longer.....

We have always used ME -- and i guess have really lucked out, b/c we never have waited longer than 10 min. for a bus!! We usually fly in later at night (when we go in March) or early a.m. (landing at 10am at MCO) in November -- however, we have never stayed value before - and i did notice that last time the lines for POP/AS were longer - maybe it was just a fluke... But, for us - even if it's a PITA b/c you have to stop at several hotels -- it kinda starts off our vacation.
My dd loves the video they show - even though i can pretty much recite it in my sleep!! She loves it. :) So, for us, it's just part of the magic!

I love 'Ah-Ha' moments!!! Just figured out how to add a day to our trip and make DH happy at the same time :rotfl:. When we booked our trip, we scheduled Sun the 21st and leaving after an early breakfast Friday the 26th. I reallllyyy wanted to add one more day because we will be going at a much slower pace this year with DS. DH didnt want to change it, mostly because of cost (I am hoping for a pin for Nov). I think I could add one more day of park tickets to stay all day Friday and then stay off site at the hotel we will be staying at on Sat the 20th (only $79 ). Now how to get DH on board:rolleyes1

I cant help with the ME. We drive down and so does most Dis'ers we know from here. I am NOT patient with lines though and that would drive me crazy. What are the odds of taking a taxi? I know for me, the extra expense of getting there would be worth it not to have to wait. I would justify the cost as part of the trip and not as a luxury expense.

OT - but where are our tickers??? :( Seems the ones here thru the DIS aren't showing up.. bummer!

Well..that's what I was curious about November...if we had 10 minutes I would freak!! We are looking at an hour-an hour and a half before we are through the lines and on the bus!!!! I was wondering if Nov made a significant diff. Thanks! And yeah,,,my kids love the video too!

We have done taxi/shuttle before...we can def. afford it, but always thought, well, ME is free, so use it! But...the last time left a really bad taste, KWIM? I am riding the fence because the week we are going should be much slower even than Dec or Jan....or just pay the fee and be out of the airport and on our way! I have time to decide...just wondered how other Disers felt about it!!

Hey! We'll see you on the road if we don't end up flying! We are driving -heading out on Friday night, finishing our drive on Sat. Then driving back on Sat!

OT- mine did that too for a while. There was a virus associated with tickers from certain websites, so those tickers were deleted. I just deleted the ticker in my profile and found another one on a site I didnt use before. HTH

We drive down Saturday and stay off site in Orlando so we can get an early start Sunday. This will be the longest drive with DS so I will have to map out rest areas before the trip. We call him 'the Mayor' so if you are at a rest stop and a toddler comes over to say 'hi' it will be him:rotfl:

We have taken the ME to SSR & BCV at least 6 times and have never waited more than 10 minutes. An hour waiting for a bus? Wow! I have never seen that before. Hopefully you'll have better luck this year. :goodvibes

I know I already answered this on another thread, but I will again anyway!! :rotfl: Last November we had no wait to get through the ME line. Walked right up to the CM that was scanning the vouchers, got in the POR line, waited about 5 minutes and were on a bus! :goodvibes We have always had good ME experiences, so until we have a bad one we will continue to use them. I can't believe you had such a long wait to get on a bus. :scared1: I would be scared now too if I were you! :scared: But keep in mind that Nov is a much slower time than the last 2 times you have gone. Even if Nov isn't "value" season. . . :confused3

Just booked a trip for October 30 - November 6 with a pin code that came as a surprise in the email. It will be DH, DS (7) and DD (4) who will turn five while we are there. A fun birthday trip for all of us. We are staying at Beach Club, which we have never done and really appeals to us. We love Epcot at night and have visions of wondering the World Showcase with kids feeling drowsy and walking home. May cut off one night and head to Universal as we've never been there. Excited to join the fun of anticipating this trip. It will be our 4th with the kids, but seems to be just as exciting each time.

:welcome: Sounds like a fun trip you have planned!! We are very excited about staying in the Epcot area (BWI) this time too and being able to stroll back to the room from the park. :cloud9:
