Not exactly sure. . . I am going to leave 6 of our 8 days open for either Epcot or DHS. We are only going to MK & AK one day each. I see Fantasmic is only showing 2X my week - Sunday and Thursday. . . Of course this will probably all change as we get closer, it did last year.

I hope they release the OL starting date before I have to make my ADR's so I can plan accordingly. . .

How do you know when Fantasmic runs? I was trying to find that last night because we skipped it last trip and really want to get it this visit but couldn't find a schedule for stuff like that.

Don't add me to the list just yet, but there is a very good chance my mom and I will be able to move our January trip up to the last week of November in time for my birthday, so I'll be subbing this thread!

When you are on the calendar just click on each individual date and it will list Fantasmic if it is showing that night. . . And keep checking as your trip gets closer, they have been known to add showings as it gets closer!

ooh.. thanks.. I found what I was looking for and was able to work the schedule out to hit a Fantasmic early in the week. That way if we have a rain out or a child meltdown we have later in the week to try again.

And here I was coming on hopeing I would see that the dates for the MVMCP and OL .....wonder what's up now Sometimes procrastinating is a good thing, I sure would have been upset if I worked on my ADR"S yesterday based on the hours they posted, already had to change what I had first planned on when I expected the MVMCP to start maybe on Tues of my week.

My family and I will be at WDW November 5 - 14. Haven't booked the resort yet, haven't gotten flights. I guess I'm a little behind, huh? I'm waiting for the kids' school schedule for next year to be finalized before I buy plane tickets.

I'm actually considering doing a split stay so that we can do a deluxe for part of our stay. Anybody have any words of wisdom about that...one way or the other?

I know there was free dining last November. Was it a Disney Visa thing? What do you think the chances are of it being offered again?

Yep, you better get busy working on a resort and airfare!!

We did a split stay once. It wasn't bad. We stayed 6 nights at the first resort and then 2 nights at the second. The night before we checked out of the first resort we spent about an hour packing up and then another half hour on the last minute stuff in the morning. . . Then we called a cab and they took us to the second resort. We made sure to pack all the dirty clothes and things we weren't going to need anymore all together, that way no need to unpack every single bag at the second resort.

So like I said, it wasn't bad. I'm not sure I'd do it again unless I had about 5 nights to spend at each resort. Two nights/three days wasn't enough to fully experience the second resort.

I think free dining originally came out for Visa cardholders last year, and then was released to the general public.

Speaking of the GAD vouchers. . . I was sad to see that they have reached their quota and ended the program already. When I went to schedule our volunteer day there was nothing available until June. I got us all signed up but was told that I couldn't officially register until April 20th, 60 days out from our volunteer activity. So when I went to register yesterday it said the program was over. Bummer.

Anyone doing anything this weekend that is related to the trip?

Yesterday, I looked at cargo boxes (that go on top of vehicles) to get a feel for the size. We have finally decided that we need one. Our Armada holds 7 people, but when it comes to 'stuff ....' it is a little limited on space. My son had to sit next to a wall of luggage last fall when we headed down to Orlando and PC for the cruise. Haha! He was ok with it, but my mom was freaking out that he was too crowded.

I will continue to figure out my ADRs so that I can send them to the IPO next week. Whew. That "180-days-out day" is coming soon!!
