In-case you didn't know, you can do it at 6:00am online!! It's so simple and much faster than calling. (and not scary at all!) And yes, you can book more ADR's later and cancel some later if needed. Good luck! :)

Do you have that link? I've never used it, but would like to, since we'll be getting ready for church the am of my 1st ADR day :scared1:

Just goin' on a hunch here, but I think you might like Boma for breakfast? :rotfl:

Whatever gave you that idea ? :rotfl2:
Boma's is one of the reasons we are staying at AKL we like a nice breakfast buffet and prefer non character now that we have no small kids, there are places I would like to go but it is too much of a hassle now getting up and running here or there we like to relax around whatever resort we are staying at more and more it seems, coffee on the balcony then off to breakfast. We are more the late nite at the park and slow to rise in the morning type of people now. I loved OKW except no breakfast buffet , Yacht Club was another favorite of mine because of the non character breakfast buffet.

I am about to book for vacation week yet just noticed that the storytelling (Xmas around the World) at Epcot doesn't start until Friday the 26th..is that right? I thought it would begin before Thanksgiving and was so looking forward to that...
Also, where do people dine on Thanksgiving Day since we are missing out on the traditional turkey dinner?!

The 26th is the date I am finding for that. . . Not sure about the Thanksgiving dinner question. . .

Anyone hear anything else about the OL start date??? popcorn::

I only seen it posted on another thread, the person said it was listed as starting on Nov 8th on the calendar found on the Disney Vacation Connection, but I had problems with the d/l so uninstalled it and last time I looked Disney took off the d/l button from the site and are working on fixing the problems with it :confused3 I keep checking the normal Disney sites but so far have found nothing :sad1:

Xmas around the world definitely starts black Friday. We'll be there then, I've heard Fri is crazy, so I think we might wait and go sat night instead. (although epcot is open until 12:30 the 26th, which would be nice). You can get turkey at almost all of the restaraunts on Thanksgiving. 2 years ago we did Chef Mickey's which was fun. I think we may try LTT this year, if we can get a reservation.
How long did it take to get your tickets to MVMCP? I ordered mine about a week ago.

Not positive but I think they took 6 or 7 days not counting the weekend

Wow! I just found this thread and now I have all you great folks with whom to share the November countdown. :cheer2:

There are 6 of us, DH, DD, DSIL, DGS x 2, and me, Mary, who can't wait to get back to Windsor Hills for 2 glorious weeks, Nov 6 - 20. While this is far from my first trip, I just made my first ADR, ever, today! The on-line ressie system is a dream. We don't plan a lot of meals, but since I have already convinced everyone how perfect it will be to start off with an MK day, lunch at the Crystal Palace just seems like icing on the cake. We hope to be settled into our house around 4 pm and while the menfolk lug in the luggage and check the pool temp, we ladies will blitz the Super Wal-Mart for groceries and supplies. Yes, we already have our shopping list well underway. :lmao:

It will be a long travel day for us, leaving home around 4:30 am, so that first night will be dedicated to unpacking and unwinding, not neccessarily in that order. Then it's up at at 'em, for a good breakfast at home before heading off to catch that first magical glimpse of the Castle. AAaaaaaahhhhHHHH!

Don't add me to the official list yet...but I think I'm going back again in November! It was such a great time to go last year that I don't think I can resist going again this year, and I already got the ok from my husband! I'm just having a hard time deciding which resort to stay at, I REALLY want to stay at WL, which is where we stayed last November, but I'd like to try to save money and do the smart thing, which would be staying at a mod. And I have no idea which mod to pick, they all look great! :rotfl: I'll let you all know once I book, should be in the next day or so!

POFQ is very pretty during the Christmas season, too.

To all those who have been at WDW in November, what is the weather typically like? We're usually there in May :guilty: but not this year. We'll be there in November. :upsidedow TIA

Brenle~ :welcome: we were there in 2003 before Tday..it was definitely shorts and tees weather..light jackets in the parks at night..that wind always blows and when the sun goes down, you feel it! Not cold...just reaaally breezy!
Momof2Disneyboys was there 2weeks before Tday last year and she said it was warm all that week too---both of us had 70-80 degree days...pools for sure. Have heard that cool fronts are always possible..just keep checking weather reports!
Mary! :welcome: sounds like ya'll are going to have a wonderful time!!!! I love that your Wal-Mart list is ready:cheer2: A true OCD planner after my own heart!!!!! LOL....I am so excited for y'all to get to be there so long!! What a blast! When the kids get older I am gonna look into Windsor Hills!!

Ugh been busy the last few days and have a ton of pages to read!

I made my ADR's TUES!!!

Got everything I wanted EXCEPT California Grill.... couldn't get in there when I wanted to save my life! So we booked Narcoossee's instead :)

Also decided to change plans for our HS day. We did the Fantasmic package at Hollywood Brown Derby but our dinner reservation is at 3:30!! I know they said those were early, but that's REALLY early.

Anyways we decided to do Hollywood and Vine character breakfast and basically skip lunch that day (maybe use a snack credit or whatever but save our appetites) that way we'll be ready to eat again so early!

I can't wait!!

I have never been during November before but from what I have read and from past expierence from visits in Jan,April,October(all of which had varied fluctuating temperatures) I will be packing shorts, jeans, and at least one sweat outfit and a light jacket. I remember one year I had to buy sweat type jackets for all of us (4) since silly me did not pack any jackets thinking it was April(Easter) and would be hot like our previous visit ....encountered a couple very chilly mornings and evenings :upsidedow

Sorry to hear you had to change your plans with California Grill, I debated about changeing ours for Le Cellier to Rose and Crown since I am not happy with the time I was able to get for Le Cellier, but we have done Rose and Crown and have never done Le Cellier so for now sticking with it and maybe I will get lucky at some point and be able to snag an earlier ressie due to a cancelatiton :rotfl2: yeah right , not with my luck :lmao:
I decided to skip the Fantasmic Package since if the OL are showing I am thinking to go there during the Fantasmic show( it would be less busy:confused:) plus maybe they will add a second show of Fantasmic on that night (fingers crossed)
I heard they were now doing lunch and dinner Fantasmic Packages, thought maybe that would make it easier to get later ones for dinner but I guess not judgeing by your time.

We were there last November (7th-15th) and the weather was fantastic. Probably the best we've ever experienced down there. We were there once in October and it was blazing hot, 2X in May and the one time was hot and the other time was miserably hot, and once in January and the temps really fluctuated then -- some days a high of 50 and some around 80. But anyway, to answer your question - November was a very comfortable 78-82 everyday, with the exception of one day when it was about 65. Perfect!! :goodvibes We were able to swim, yet didn't have to sweat our behinds off either!!We did experience some crazy winds a few days, because of Tropical Storm Ida, but luckily the storm missed the Orlando area. We had one evening of rain, it started around 7:30 and rained into the night and was done before morning.

November crowds (mid November) are pretty comparable to mid May crowds. Maybe a little less. Very light!

Last night, DH and I threw out all our plans and started over. We are doing something we haven't done since our Christmas/New Years trip in 04/05. We are going to wing it the last few days of our trip. Since we have been told that the parks really fill up from Thanksgiving throughout the weekend, we decided to only make only breakfast ADRs (with the exception of Thanksgiving Dinner) those days and just wing it at the parks. Should be interesting to see how this goes..... 11 Days till I make my ADRs! It really needs to hurry up!

Oh, and I think we have decided to stick with the GF. Mostly because of the time we are going. We love a good Christmas theme! ;)

Fun! We are staying in WH too. It will be our first time staying off site. Have you been there before? It looks nice, REALLY close and we got a 3 bdrm townhouse for a great price!

Also, question for anyone who has done Akershus for lunch, this will be our first (really excited for my girls to see the princesses, boys are along for the ride) and I was wondering about the food. It looks really different. Any tips on what you liked or didn't like?

I didn't see a QOTD so I'm posting one . . . . .

How did you hear about the DISboards?

I found out from another parent at my daughter's basketball game. I was telling the person next to me about our upcoming Disney cruise and Christine overheard the conversation and asked if I had heard about the DISboards. She then apologized in advance, because she had become addicted and hoped I didn't get that way :rotfl2: That was in February 2009 and I think I was on the boards daily right up until our cruise that April.
