Oh, princesses, REALLY looking forward to the cooler weather. I ran once in 3 weeks (and that was only b/c it was a race for which I was paid) and now I feel like I am a complete beginner again! I started out the last 2 runs at 2 miles and came home DRIPPING. Humidity really does suck - as in, sucks the life right out of you! Am cruising on the Dream soon and am actually looking forward to running on a treadmill, looking out over the ocean!
To all you who are just beginning your training outside, don't let the summer heat / humidity make you think that this is too hard for you. Hang in there, especially if you live in a humid place, and you will see a HUGE difference in your performance come fall!
