Booked my ADR's this morning. I got BOG for dinner on Sunday night!

Has anyone booked Le Cellier yet? The first CM I spoke with said that it was completely booked Friday - Tuesday. Someone else called and their CM said that all of the tables haven't been released yet - only 5 on Saturday. I called back and talked to a different CM, who said that only 2/22 has been released. AHHH!!!

I booked at the Hollywood Brown Derby in place of Le Cellier.

I got Narcoossee's for post race though I am going back and forth since there is a BOG open still but DH doesn't want to go and I am trying to be nice.

I am the one who called about Le Cellier and the CM was SO nice. She pulled up and said right now for the 23rd there was 1 lunch and 4 dinners booked so she said to keep checking :scared1: I booked Mama Melrose as a back up but might move it to the Yachtsman. I wish DH had an option other than just saying what he doesn't want.

I did do my 6 mile run this morning and it was not the best. I wore my compression sleeves and at three miles I had to go by the house to take them off since I was so hot. My last three were a lot better though

We got BOG at 755pm on Sunday. :) It was the only ADR that I was making for the weekend. The rest we will either do CS or play it by ear.

Happy Running Ladies!

I just got off the phone and my CM said they still hadn't been released even for 2/22... :confused3

Argh!!! How confusing/annoying/frustrating! Ultimately, I'm happy because I got BOG for our celebration dinner, but I was hoping to have all of this stress gone by today. Disney dining stresses me out! :-D

I totally agree! I have Via Napoli as a backup for Friday night. We love Liberty Tree Tavern and booked that for an early dinner on Sunday. And Yak and Yeti for lunch on Monday. We're staying at the Ft Wilderness cabins, so we'll eat in most other meals, but I may have to do lunch at Be Our Guest just because it looks so cool! Hopefully we'll manage to get into Le Cellier, but I hate having to check on the computer all the time, I feel like I'm missing it if I don't.

I got a 5 mile run in today, felt pretty good. It looks like I might get to run in the rain from my third tropical storm this year on Tuesday. Hope everyone in its path stays safe!

I tried for Le Cellier for the 25th and was told this AM That reservations were not opened yet, I have never had that happen, so I glad to hear I was not the only one told this.

Our BoG is at 5:05, will we be seeing anyone else at this time?

BoG Sunday at 5:35! Quite a few of us have reservations in the 5 o'clock hour. :-D

I was able to get Yachtsman for our post race celebration and then BOG dinner on my birthday the 26th!! I also booked dine with an animal expert as a bday gift for my DD14 and dine with an imagineer another day!! so excited!! Has anyone here ever done the "dine with" experiences?

Just booked BOG for Sunday after the race. I got 5:40. The night before we are eating at Via Napoli. Now to figure out Thursday and Friday.

DH=disney husband
BOG = be our guest
CM = cast member
ADR = advance dinner reservations

You hang around the forums long enough you'll learn all the abbriviations that people use.

Huh never realized MCO stood for that, cool!

Ok, I can't get into LeCellier on Friday and I don't want to have to keep trying for six months, so I cancelled my backup reservations at Via Napoli and made them at O'Hana instead. Everyone seems so excited by it and I've never been there. I read someone's dining review of it and they posted awesome photos. I have to admit, it made me HuNgRY!!!

Hello, Princesses! Add me to the list! I am new to running and the PHM will be my first half! I am running with a group of girlfriends who I met when our husbands were stationed together overseas. Can't wait to see them! Since we are military, we are thinking of staying at Shades of Green because we an get a great rate. I am worried about transportation, though, and we don't want to deal with a rental car. Has anyone stayed at SoG for a marathon weekend? Do they provide transportation to the race on marathon morning?

I also did the Lowell 10K last Thanksgiving--it was fun! Not too many hills, but the course is a bit long. It was COOOOLD. Brr! If we're in town this Thanksgiving, I may do it again, but for now I am riding my 58 min 10K time from the Provincetown 10K this summer. I would like to do a (reasonably) local 10K sometime later this fall-- maybe in late Oct/ early Nov, as I have the DL 1/2 in about 10 days and the TOT 10mi a month later. Would love to hear any additional suggestions!

great Job on the time!!!

I signed up yesterday for it. I'm going to try to make a dark red sparkly skirt and find some devil horns to wear. I figure the horns might good practice if I decide to run the Princess with a tiara. Hope to see some of you ladies there.

I really need to get back to training again. I fear I may be walking a good portion of the Rockfest Half next month.

Holly

YAY!!! I think I am going to sign up for the Devils Chase as well, I am HOPING to run most of the Rockfest. Ran 10.55 yesterday after not having run for a week, Nearly killed me!

I think I may join up with this one too. Need to make up my mind soon!

YAY!!!

Sounds neat. I'll have to start thinking about a costume. Trying to convince hubby to do it with me, but not sure if he will.

My longest run so far was just short of 7 miles, but I have only managed to run 1.5 miles total this week. So, I may be walking a good part of it too. Just feeling in a funk right this week--perhaps its the stress of school starting next week (my oldest is starting Kindergarten!) Ah, well--that's why this race is perfect. A nice walk along the beach when you are too tired to run the last few miles. Plus, we'll probably get to see the winner of the full marathon run past us. :rotfl2:

I think it's great that so many of us New England Princesses are doing the same races. :love:

YAY! Must be something in the air!!! I hadn't done a thing before yesterday. Sounds like there is going to be a few of us running it. Anyone want to meet up?

Anyone doing the NH 10 miler on Saturday?

Hi folks!

Here to report that I had my first "bad" run the other day. My legs were sore and I had to keep using my walk time to stretch. I tried a new route, got myself lost and had to walk extra in order to get back to somewhere I recognized. It was humid and I felt miserable. :sad:

But when I checked the MapMyRun? I was still beating my former 15 min/mile record! Not by a lot, but by enough that proved to me that I am making progress! :yay:

Also, I booked my first.ever. ADR to celebrate at BOG at 5:25 on Sunday. The cast member who booked me asked if we were going to be celebrating anything and I said, "um, I'm going to run in the Princess Half Marathon that day?" (all shy for whatever reason :tilt:). And he said "Are you?! That's fantastic! I'll write it down! Good for you!" It made me smile so big!:goodvibes

Affirmed my decision to run my real race at Disney, too. The place is full of cheerleaders!:cheer2:

The CMs that come out to cheer along the course and backstage areas are awesome...very encouraging!

I still haven't booked my resort yet, hoping to get that this week. We're still deciding on which moderate to book. I'm really hoping for a decent AP discount eventually though. I'm hoping to stay at the Poly. :thumbsup2
