Owen likes Mickey's Clubhouse, Imagination Movers, Little Einsteins, Bob the Builder, Sesame Street, and Wonder Pets, but he never sits still for more than 5 minutes of those shows. Blue's Clues comes on and he'll settle in for a good 10-20 minutes, even for the entire show if he's tired or not feeling well. And now we can add Good Eats to the short list of "shows Owen will sit through an entire episode".
He also loves dancing to music with us (he mostly just sways from side to side right now), but his favorite music is Bollywood! We have a show on one of the local channels called Namaste America and they have a section called Desi Jams where they show Bollywood videos. Owen loves it! I've borrowed some Bollywood CD's from the library and he'll pick up one of his musical instruments and start playing and swaying when we put the music on. It cracks up our Indian friends, and they're trying to teach him some Bollywood dance moves. Maybe when he can walk we can work on the dance steps a little more.

Only when it works!
Computer stuff is sooooooooooooo frustrating. I like the idea of the booster seat at the table. I may need to try that with Brady!
you ladies on here!! It seems like a million years ago that many of us met on the TTC boards, and now look where we are! Running around after toddlers!!! Crazy!!!
It's nice to be able to share that with you guys, because I know you "get it."

eeewww...I am completely grossed out by all the snot coming out of my boy's head today. I have gagged so much, and I'm afraid I'm going to actually puke one of these times when I have to wipe his nose. I've got such a jumpy gag reflex, and this is just disgusting!!!
I have posted a sign over the doorbell that says "Quiet Please: Baby sleeping. Do not use the doorbell" and what does he do? He POUNDS on the door!!
The child's bedroom is the left front room, it is right by the front door, the window for his room is on the porch, he can hear EVERYTHING that happens at the front of the house. We have a tiny, 1910-era bungalow. There is no insulation. I have told the mail carrier several times that he needs to be very quiet, but he just does not get it!
So once again today, he comes stomping up the porch steps, bangs on the door, rattles the mail slot, and calls out "package!". And of course Owen woke up.
