DMickey - Alexander's costume matches his eyes! :goodvibes

Bekkiz - welcome and congratulations! The boys are adorable, and they were such good sizes!

DznyLvr - Tinkerbell looks so cute! :cutie:

Becky - I don't know how many teeth they get either, but Alex has the same amount as Vaylie right now. I think he's working on the eye teeth, b/c I can see a few poking through.

***************

Alex learned a new word this week! But it's not one most parents would be proud of. DH dropped something and yelled "son of a ....." and just stopped there. But Alex filled in the blank for him. It wasn't "gun."

Love everyone's halloween pictures, all the kids looked soooooooo cute! I'll have to post mine later, I'm still trying to catch up on sllep. DD4 thought it would be a great idea to wake up at 3:30 in the morning:scared1:

On a sad note foe ME, my baby boy cut his first tooth yeasterday. He is growing up so fast:sad1:

I just got home a bit ago- from my first Pro football game. My SIL won Rams tickets at work, and only bank employees could go, so I went with SIL and two of our girlfriends from work. We had a good time, even though it was a football game. ;) SIL really likes football- she and BIL pick teams and watch it all the time. Me: not so much. But I had a mucho granda Margarita ($8.75 :scared: ) and I still had fun!

I'm more of a hockey person, myself. DH and I usually go to a couple of Blues games each year.

Now, SIL and I are planning the Election Night party we're having!!! I have to figure out some way to theme the foods.

Hi Ladies!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Pollito : I love the pictures of Alex helping to paint – so cute!

Bethany : Those pictures are awesome - you guys look terrific. What a fun party. I love Owen’s costume. Good job making that!

Bec : What a pretty picture of Vaylie - she is just beautiful. I love her costume. Hope you had fun at the Rams. I am a big Patriots fan - go to the games a few times a year. As a matter of fact - we just played the Rams last week and I was at that game - it was fun - hope you had fun!

Dmickey : Alex makes an adorable care bear - what a cute costume.

Bekkiz : Welcome - twins! Wow. They are so precious. Congrats!!

Dznylvr : Tinkerbell!! Adorable. What a cutie.

GREAT Halloween pictures!! Keep em’ coming. I just LOVE Halloween and love seeing all these adorable little ones all dressed up.

Izzy’s costume pix are in the next post.

Have a great night all!

-Nicole

Who else has pictures - let's see them!!

Christopher was not really impressed with halloween. The masks scared him a bit. Other than that, he was having fun. He went to see all his aunts and uncles, but wouldn't moo at them. Apparently he was the great shrieking cow :)

Becky - I can't remember how many teeth they have by 2, but he's got the front 4, all his eye teeth, and 4 molars. I'm hoping there's nothing else coming in for a while now.

Pollito - love the pics of Alex helping. Too cute! Love the words - I'm sure it will be high on Christopher's list from driving with me too much....

Bekkiz - they're adorable!

Here are some pictures from our fall festival. DD4 was a pirate, DD2 of course Minnie Mouse, and DS a pirate too!

Goofy - The kids look adorable!!!
Nicole - I love Izzy's costume.
Jen - Christopher makes a cute cow ... too bad he wouldn't moo!

I think by 2 years they have all 4 on top and bottom, the eye teeth (those are the poiny ones right?) and the first 4 molars. The second set of molars are called '2 year old' molars and they get them usually after turning 2. Unless you are my morphing child, he has 3 of the 4 2 year molars now. I think we have 19.

Our AC went down again this weekend. We had the guy out yesterday twice and now two of them are here working on it and they can't get it working. DH flips out because he is a naturally HOT guy and can't stand it at night if it's not cool. I feel bad that the guys are working so hard, they have literally been here for 2 hours. It's the 5th time it's gone down since we moved here in June. Ridiculous ... how about a new unit this time?

I love all the pictures of the kids! So fun and cute!

Bekkiz, welcome! I'm glad your boys are doing well, and I hope you are getting some sleep. :goodvibes

DMickey, bummer on the AC. I hate being hot, so I totally sympathize with your DH!

DMIL is coming over for dinner tonight. She still doesn't get Owen's costume, and keeps complaining that she can't show the pictures to her friends because they don't make any sense, and what's that thing hanging down in Owen's face anyway (they're Rufus' teeth). Oh well. At least we did the 9m photos in the costume she liked.

Our foster kitten has started having some poo issues, and she's going on the couch instead of in the litterbox. :headache: Really not helpful. Since our house isn't that big, the whole place smells like nasty cat poo. :scared: I've had to put her back in her pen in the garage for now, but it makes it hard to socialize her if she's isolated out there.
She's a nervous little thing - we think someone must have abused her or terrorized her somehow before she was found and rescued because she used to be completely terrified of people and at first we weren't sure she would be socialized enough to be adopted. We named her "Heidi" because she was always hiding from us at first. She's still pretty jumpy and startles easily, and she's slow to warm up to new people, but she's at least gotten comfortable enough around me that she follows me everywhere and sleeps curled up next to me. She also likes to snuggle with me when I give Owen his bottle, and he puts his little hand on her head while he eats. Heidi loves that, and licks his fingers, which he thinks is hysterical. It's very cute! So now I'm sad that she's not using the litterbox, and I hope this doesn't set her back in getting comfortable around people.

HI LADIES!

Can you all believe that tomorrow, election day, Mo will be 11 months! :woohoo:

My baby has gone from this:

ry%3D400

to this:

ry%3D400

GOOD GRIEF CHARLIE BROWN! :faint: When did my baby grow up so quick??

Denise.....Mo is soo cute! He is getting big! Ya know, he and Sam are built a lot alike..Sam is about 22 lbs and is just built like a mac truck, whereas Zoe is just the teeny little sassy girl at barely 18 lbs! I can't believe they will be a year old in a week and a half!

Denise - I can't believe how big he is. He looks like a little boy, not a baby anymore!!

I can't believe the twins are almost a year as well. 22lbs??? Wow ... That's pretty big isn't it? I can't remember how big Alexander was at a year!!

I think for a boy that 22 lbs is about average...I am not sure. I really need to update my snapfish pics so you guys can see my cuties!

Everyone's kiddos look so cute!!!

I am probably going to get myself in trouble on the DIS tonight. I need to back away from the political threads. :scared:

Ahhhh!!! Election tomorrow, ladies! VOTE!!

I'm too excited to sleep! :rotfl:

Denise, Mo is so big!! What a cutie! Isn't it fun watching them grow into little people and not just cute little blobs? :goodvibes

We're planning to be out and in line to vote as soon as the polls open tomorrow morning. Most of our friends have already voted either absentee or at the county office, but we like going out on election day. Plus there's the free cup of coffee at Starbucks if you show that you voted tomorrow! ;)

So how have your kiddos done with the time change so far? Owen was already waking up early (6:00-6:30 instead of 7:00-7:30), and with the time change he's now REALLY early. :scared1: We've been moderately successful at convincing him to at least lay in his crib a little longer in the mornings, and I've been trying to keep him on his "normal" nap schedule by not letting him fall asleep early, even though he really wants to. I'm hoping that in a couple more days he'll get into the new time and won't be waking up at o'dark-thirty any more.

I'm going to vote before work. I don't expect long lines, since there are only about 250 (yes- two hundred and fifty) people in my "village." :lmao:

I need to stick to this thread. I'm getting skewered. Someone suggested I find a socialist country to move to!

I'm heading out to vote as soon as the Chief shows up at work (I can't leave without someone here to cover the ambulance). DH is going later on and bringing Christopher with him. His aunts are all the checklist supervisors, so at least he can play over by them without having to wait in all the lines.

Denise - Mo is adorable! I can't believe how much like a little boy he looks rather than like a baby.

I know this is a strange question. Do any of your kids have problems with foods that have lots of high fructose corn syrup or food dyes in them? I don't usually feed Christopher a whole lot of processed stuff, but when I do, he becomes so fussy for a few hours. Almost like his body is going faster than his brain, and he can't figure out how to slow down, you know? He can't focus on one thing for more than 30 seconds, then goes to something else, but then gets mad that he doesn't have the first thing. It's so totally out of character for him that it's almost scary.

I'm waiting for my mom to call and say that I can bring Ellery over so that I can go vote.

Becky- maybe I'll move with ya. Yesterday I was told that I was a murderer and a sinner and that Obama is the antichrist. I love living in South Carolina.

oh yeah and reading back, Ellery is 11 months old and weighs 26 lbs.
