I sometimes think about listing myself on E Bay.... is there a policy about such?

I'm not sure. I've looked at goods on Ebay but never seen humans. I'm not sure you can list services on ebay, but I'm guessing not. That's what Craiglist is for, can't you find painters or babysitters on there?

I just quickly read something about that. Does this mean that metals will go down in value significantly and soon or what? TIA

Not gold, but industrial metals will probably drop. Gold will artifically hold up the prices of some precious metals, but other than gold other metals are mostly for electronics and other uses.

The coast is now clear, literally at that. For the smoke from the neighboring islands wonderful display of pyrotechnics from their once dormant volcano, finally has passed.
Ah... it did look beautiful though, all of that molten lava shooting into the otherwise dark Island skies. Fortunately, all of the locals were able to make it over to our island. And just in the nic of time too. It was not too hard to clear their island, because it is very small, now even smaller than that. And it's indigenous people are really very tiny. Almost like Hawaii's miny huna men. They are really cute too. They all love The Doors, so they normally wear t-shirts that say just that..."We love the Doors!" Followed by on the back of the shirt "Right on man, yeah!" For the rest of their outfits, they tried cool leather pants, but they are just too short, man... to pull the look off. So they settle instead for comfy levi cutoffs. I will try to get a picture of them next time I see them running around here. They have a lot of energy, too much if ya ask me. They are starting to get on my last nerve. I might have to spike their nightly beverage with some melatonin. Hey, it works!

Yes, indeedy it would be. As soon as I can get them to stand still long enough for a photo opp. I will take one. Just one warning though, they really love sweets, so if any of them smile, beware, they have some pretty gnarly looking teeth. I am trying to get them to see our dentist, but so far, they say no way Jose, and then they run off into the jungle. Oh well, I will continue to try to get them to cooperate, for both a picture and their going to the dentist. Hey, at least they take a shower every day. Don't ask.....

Funny that you should say that, actually. Because the oompa's are their distant cousins, twice removed, then put back, savvy? Anyway, their cousins though have much better teeth, but then Willie Wonka has a really great dental plan for them.
Some of their Island cousins have gone over to the US so as to work for Willie. And then about every 6 months or so, they go back to their native land, that is Island, for r. & r. Which constitutes wine, women and running amok. Amok is a fun activity, you should try it at least once in your life. The little guys and gals live on an clothing optional island. The only time they dress for certain, well unless you catch them by surprise anyway, is when it is tourist season.
Tourists just love the island inhabitants. Just one rule, well actually at least two. One, don't steal their candy.... two... you must bring candy to share. Otherwise, they will smile at you....

I'm trying to think of the early 90's when I started to get CDs and if The Best of The Doors were the first album I bought on disc. 2cd set.

I am hoping to collect all of their (The Doors) records, as in yes, real actual records. And the sooner the better. I just need to buy a record player, because my last one had to be retired due to a plug issue. And like wow man it would just be so cool and groovy to have all of their music!

I have some Led Zepplin on vinyl, but CD quality is so much better.

Ah yes perhaps, however... if one has original records, then it is like owning a first edition preferably mint of course classic book. As both represent and reflect the time to which they are from. Therefore, if you have a real keen interest in History like I do, then the former is like not only owning history, but holding it in your hands. And listening to it, in the event of records.
