Kermit, do you mean the bike rides in LA?

Great schedule if you want to take trips somewhere.

This is not a slow day for me!!![]()
My thoughts exactly, however I'm not sure how long it will last.
Finally got to see the west end of backstage, and did some GSO (guest show operations) for the "A Christmas Fantasy" parade. I had the power of the mighty flashlight!
hope everyone is having a good week.
Yeah Disney is like lots of emplyees with very variable customer levels. And they change your schedule at a whim.
When I worked with management in such a case, I spoke to several of thier emplyees and said, how would you feel if you worked the same days each week. The employees were about 75% for, 25% against and for half of them it was thier first job. Spoke to their managers, one was willing to do this schedule out of the dozen locations/departments. This managers retained 80% of his employees year after year after year, lost 0% of his seasonal employees during the season. The others had %75 turnover, with 15-25% loss during the season.
It's nice when your life follows a pattern, people like the predictability. It creates more comfort.
A big reason it helped was because many employees had low wages and having a reliable, helped them get a second job. The managers didn't need two jobs, they made at least twice as much. Sound like anywhere in Anaheim or Orlando?
So some crowd control? That's not a flash light, it's a light saber.![]()
I'm torn on the scheduling. If I get constant days off I can try and pick up a second job for some extra money. But if random days off allow me to make more money I'd be okay with that as well.
I am and now it's almost done.
How is your week moving along?
Since it's DLR. If your days were always M-F, you would get many less hours. If they were Thur-Sun you would get many more hours.
So what you do is balance it out. CM1 works Wed-Sat. CM2 works Sat to Tue. Or. You take a CM who needs hours and a CM who doesn't and they work the same shift together. That latter is what I prefer.
At DLR can you look online for extra shifts?
Happy weekend everyone!
Are you going to a party in the next couple days?
Sadly the private parties were sold out so I'm going to a mix in in early January.
Sold out, doesn't everyone get to go unless they are working?
As far as I know you have to get tickets from the Team Center, when I asked about the one for Tuesday I was informed it was "sold out". I don't want to go to the one tomorrow because I work at 8:30am on Tuesday, but I may try and find someone with an extra ticket for Tuesday as I'm off at 7pm.

I had heard that Tuesday was maxed out. What not go on Monday for a few hours?
