Yep! I'd much rather have Mickey getting me excited about my trip to WDW (and sad about going home) than whoever that boring person is, droning on and on. I saw the video 5 months ago and it was so bad that I can't even tell you much about it. Even though it must have played through at least 4 times on the way back to the airport.

Disney didn't "plus" this video. They minused it, and the divided it, and minused it again.

My sister and I were both tearing up over the video in 2011- both ways!

Just got back May 1st and we were disappointed by the video this go around. It made leaving not so painful compared to the old one at least- but arrival video definitely wasn't as magical.

Hmmm, not too sure if I like the new video or not. I did like the old one with the characters because of the magic it spewed, however, I didn't watch a ton of it, instead I always found myself looking out the window watching the world go by waiting to see the Welcome sign, like one PP I got bored with the video after a while. Thanks to the PP, I watched the link that they gave and thought it was o.k. No it wasn't as magical as the old video but I wouldn't say this one was terrible either. Oh well, we will be riding DME next Friday so I will be able to see the whole thing.

No matter what type of video is played on the DME bus, I'm still on a bus to freaking WALT DISNEY WORLD! And that's magical enough for me to get excited and pumped up.

Although I did enjoy the old video, I'm sure the new video won't impact my vacation too much.

Oh dear! It will be like the corporate exec of (insert name of airline here) welcoming us to our flight just before the mandatory safety briefing. Not very magical. I guess I'll just relax and review my trip materials. I will be on my way to WDW after all. I wonder if the powers that be actually test this stuff in focus groups or whatnot before implementation.

What a bummer. I loved watching Mickey, Uncle Scrooge and the gang going to and from Disney World. Not to mention it contained the modern classic voices like Tress MacNeille, Alan Young and Wayne Allwine (the 'voices' of my childhood). I'll still be on a bus to Disney World but this feels less magical and more a reminder of all the things I need to try and get to while I'm there.

Hmmm. We didn't get to see anything really. Our had the sound turned off. But the few times I glanced up it was cartoons or Mickey, Donald etc shorts. My younger on fell asleep but my older DD was watching. It definitely wasn't the old video.

We really like the old one too. My son was disappointed in the new one until.... he saw the photage of Via Napoli's pizza. It is now one of our must hit spots. LOL

Please don't let Disney get wind of that .... it will encourage them to employ even more advertising!

Our first time to use DME was in January and apparently what we saw was the "new" video. I had nothing to compare it to but I remember thinking "Why do people love this video so much? it's super boring and not magical at all!" no wonder.

The new video is boring and lame. I miss the old one. I thought the entire point of this was to keep ppl entertained on the bus. Apparently Disney thinks advertising is better.

My kids kept asking me "who is Gus? and why is he not driving our bus?"

I hate the new video. It was absolutely horrible. Whoever made it didn't understand that characters are the nucleus of the Disney universe.

I'm glad they updated it, but they should have brought in Stacey and had fun with the characters. I felt like they were trying to sell me something in this video when it should have been about pumping you up.

Sometimes when they realize a change they made is lame, they fix it. Maybe we will get another new video and this one will be more awesome than before!!! It's my new "cup half full" attitude.

I’m with another poster. If they wanted to go this route, why not run the Must Do videos with Stacey. They’ve already done those and a survey has likely already revealed that most guests like her. Heck, I've already spent time watching her on youtube and I've been singing that "Living it Up" song in my head everyday and we are still 10 days out.

Oh well. I hope it changes, but I won’t let it bother me. We’ll be on vacation headed to our fun place after all. As long as they keep sending those yellow tags and getting the suitcases for me, the Magic is still in Magical Express.
