The new Kitty I found may just be a breed

Michael and I were found by a very scared little kitty in our complex parking lot. We were TOLD to pay immediate attention to this adorable little, very REGAL kitten. It looked to be about 3 to 4 months old and very clean so I figured it ran away or was lost. It walked straight up to our door and looked up at us like "let me in, please!"

KNOWING this was someone's cat I told Michael we would ask management if someone reported a missing cat the next day. The little guy in the meantime makes himself more than comfortable in our home.

Management tells me the next day that no one reported a missing cat but will let us know if someone does.

This cat LOOKS like some kind of breed and knowing little to nothing about cat breeds (it really doesn't matter to me, I love ALL cats) I decided to do a few searches in the internet.

I found the description of his personality before I saw a picture and it sounded JUST like our little guy.

This is exactly what he looks like only with lighter fur and a bushier tail. He looks like a long haired Siamese. They're called Balinese cats.

Alarm! Now what? Michael is so scared that someone will report him missing now because these are VERY expensive cats...

But I told him what if one of OUR cats were missing, wouldn't we want someone to turn them in? He had to agree...

Right now I am HOPING no one does. This little guy is SO adorable and even my other cats like him! He's so playful and fun, but if someone misses him, he'll have to go back...

Taking in a lost or stray is a catch-22 situation. If you end up falling in love with it, and someone reports it missing, you can't keep it, yet you don't want to part with it either.

It's all in someone else's hands....if you are meant to have a new member in your family...you'll know.

This one just may have a double edged sword...

My son believes that his Grandma Jackie sent this cat to him to make him not miss her so much. I heard him telling the cat how happy he was that his Grandma loved him so much that she was STILL sending him presents...

All of this wrapped up in a furry purring machine.

We can only wait and see....

Balinese are just beautiful kitties. I hope for Michael's sake that no one reports this kitty missing... although if I spent that much on a furbaby there is no way I'd let them even get a chance to escape! I hope for the best for the kitty too

It looks like a Seal-Point Siamese to me. I had one growing up, and she looked alot like that as a kitten. That pic is adorable!
I hope you get to keep the kitty.

If his tail is fluffier than the kitten in the picture, he could possibly be a Ragdoll. They are a wonderful breed and love to have belly rubs. His color will darken as he gets older. I sure hope he's yours forever.

Laura, I did check on the ragdoll also, they are a lot furrier and less angled as the balinese. This guy is very long and angular when he's standing like a siamese.

dizneenut: The Seal Point was my first choice to check, but he has longer coat and a bushy tail so I had to eliminate them.

Those blue eyes just KILL me! We named him Meeko from Pocahontas because of his mask like the raccoon's... he even answers to it now.

I think I'm gonna be in TROUBLE....

Okay guys lets be honest....I too hope Michael gets to keep the kitty but it is very very obvious that Robin is hooked too, so Robin I hope YOU get to keep the kitty!

I am such a cat lover that its pathetic. I swear I would have 100 cats if I could afford them!

I think its so sweet what Michael said and if you get to keep the kitty it will have that special meaning for him always!

I tried not to, I really did, but there is something about a kitten, they're like little children! And this little nut is so happy and so friendly, it's like he's always been here!

LOL I have four kitties and we do just fine! I love the name Robin, it does fit so well.

I sure hope yall get to keep that baby, he sure couldn't find a better home then with you two. Now you have me wanting to go out and get a kitten. They are so precious at that age, but then they are so precious when they are older too. I just love cats!!
