The new harry potter zone in Hollywood studios

Heya!

I've watched some vids on this and i was wondering if anyone knew when it opened? I cant wait!

It's annoying though because the film is English and yet the harry potter area has to be built in another country due to lack of area in the uk. Oh well! i'd much rather see it in sunny florida than small wet england!

I hate my country sometimes lol. We're too small!

This is going to be in Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure.. and I think it opens in 2011 or 2010.

Don't get me wrong, though, I'm super excited for it!

I'm not really sure what attractions/shops/restaurants are going in, but the concept art I've seen so far jus looks coool.

Keeping the Barnstormer, but adding another Dumbo spin. Coining the name among fans, "Dueling Dumbos"

lol. looks like someone beat me to it. but yes, the fantasyland refurb. small sections for ariel, belle, cinderella and aurora will be behind pinnochio and the carrousel. mickey and minnie's houses will be ripped out and replaced by pixie hollow. and then a side by side dumbo will be behind that. they also said something about where the sky rider landing in FL used to be, they'll be making it a small new orleans style place where you can meet tiana.
its exciting, i think.

I think I would have died if they took out the barnstormer xD. It'll be disappointing if the "Mouse-House" gets ix-nayed, but the Disney company is not exactly known for being very sentimental.

I agree that it would have been best "'cross the pond", but it'll fit in Universal, I think. Granted--since I don't live in the UK I really have little idea of what's there.

i've been trying to find as many youtube vids & pics as i can but there's not much out there in the way of sneak peaks/concept art for rides.

i am soooo stoked. im such a dork over harry potter. i will definitely make a trip to FLA JUST for that! hahaha.

also the fantasyland refurb sounds kinda cool. but not as exciting to me as harry potterrrrrrr

I am so stoked for the opening of the Harry Potter Land! It looks amazing! They are having a real Hogwarts, a real Three Broom Sticks, Joke Shop, and so much more! Call me a nerd but that is like my dream come true!
