They told me it was 24 cancelation notice. And WDW will cancel your reservation without your notice should there be any incliment weather such as a monsoon.

Yes, 90 days to book. Call 407 WDW PLAY

Hi! I wanted to come out of lurkdom and say that my mom and I are planning our 3rd(5 stay at GF,first was right after they opened in 1988) trip to RPC. The first time was in 1994 and in room 4404 and when we made our ressies for or 2nd RPC stay in Oct 2007 we asked for that same room cuz we fell in love with the view(the TA looked at us like we were nuts......yes request was granted for that room). So we decided to go back this May(25-31)for my b-day. Yep we asked for that room again.I made my ADRs right after we booked the trip and was shocked that I was able to ressies at CRT and LeCellier.Sorry for rambling if you want more details I'll be more than happy to provide them.---AnnMarie:eeyore:

Welcome!! I just booked our May trip last week as was able to get Le Cellier as well :faint:

Hi - i am staying at the GF for the first time May 1- 5. It's a girls only trip, and i am really looking forward to it!

Hi, AnnMarie. :goodvibes "Our" room is 4405. That's our favorite & we've been lucky enough to have it several times. All those wing rooms have great views. My DD8 actually even loves the end room because you get the monorail right off to your left and can sit on the balcony and watch it go whizzing by.:goodvibes

May is a GREAT time to go. One of the best IMO. Wish I were going, too.;)

Lives4Disney :)

Marina rentals: (Smaller boats only) Is there a length of stay pass for families (there was 2 years ago at the Poly. Not sure if GF ever did this, but the boys hope so.)

:) Sheli

We've done the length of stay plan at the GF as well at the Polynesian. It did include the pontoon boats (and at the Polynesian the sailboats...do they even have those anymore??). Anyway, it never seemed to be advertised and also seemed to be seasonal. I would just walk down to the marina when you arrive and see if it might be offered then.

But like Channing, I haven't seen anyone mention doing it in some time.

Well, after a lot of changing my mind, I've decided to return to the GF (RPC) next May for my special ladies only pampering trip (i.e. it's only me and I intend to spend most of the time around the resort and at the spa).

I stayed at RPC for the first time last December and whilst it was beautiful it was very busy/crowded.

I'm hoping early May will be a little quieter but can anyone advise what it will be like, also with my last trip being December I didn't really explore the resort, are there any places where I could soak up the sun that perhaps are a little quieter/more relaxing?

Thanks

If i'm not mistaken those aren't rooms but are the walkways that surround the lobby.

Mike

I agree. There are tables and chairs in that area for RPC.

yup. because our room was the top of the turret that is to the left of the red box and we were the first room on the left after you passed the windows on that floor (directly under that area is the lounge)

This is probably going to sound a silly question but please bear with me  are the 'private' loungers on the beach (the blue ones with the canopy) 'free' like the 'normal' loungers?

Thank you.

Yes, as Heatherlynn said first come first serve....they are great. We spent several afternoons there while DD8 played in the sand. :goodvibes Very peaceful.
