So Matt, where do you surf? Locally or do you travel?

I have surfed only a couple times down in the OBX where my uncle had a beach house, but unfortunatly he sold it last summer and no surfing for me. I dont actually own a board of my own. A bit too much of an investment for me now, and at the time, so I just used rented boards. As of right now the closest place I can get to is Va Beach and thats about a 2 hour ride, and again, without a board, it is nearly impossible for me to go out. I do have my own skim board that I bought for a whole 50 bucks that I mess with all the time.

i went on a boogieboard thing when i was in Vero beach and this large wave knocked me off (i was 12) but the bottom is all shells and rocks, i was covered in cuts.
