The 'NEW' Doctor Who

....what do you guys think of the new Doctor Who David Tennant?

I saw him in the show 'Blackpool' and thought he was very good in that.

Any opinions??

I think he'll be great - better than Christopher Eccleston IMHO!!! I didn't see "Blackpool" but I love him in "Casanova"

I was SOOOO annoyed at Christopher Eccleston announcing that he would not play Dr Who again that I would welcome ANYONE as the new Dr ( well...within reason )

Have been watching Dr Who since the very first episode in November 1963. Thoroughly enjoying the new series, however one thing is starting to get to me; CE forced plastic cheesy grin! Maybe the BBC should employ Tony and Cherie Blair on Dr Who; those two leering evil grins is enough to make any child hide behind the settee (and one or two adults as well!!)

I think this is the problem I'm having with CE. I think he's a great actor and enjoy his work.. But I feel he's trying too hard to be lighthearted as the Doctor. Again JMHO, and I do admire him for taking on such a different character role.
