The fabric was cute, maybe the Mickeys will endear it to you when you see it in person! Now given the texture (it was shiny ), it will be interesting to see how it withstands time.

Remember the GF charm I got my DD for her bracelet (the Minnie GF one)? Here is the link for one on ebay.

I bought those for my girls when we were just there. It was only $3.50 at the Mercantile, though....hmmm maybe an idea to sell on Ebay, lol.

I bought a few charms to add to DD bracelet when we attended the Princess Tea Party last December. She was 3 at the time, so I am saving the bracelet for her when she is a bit older and will not pop it, but I thought it would be nice to start collecting charms from each trip. I got a Belle (She was dressed as Belle for the tea party), a Sleeping Beauty, a Feb. birthstone one, and the GF Minnie!

Sago Cay was until it changes with the new rehab the Swan theme, in blue.

Me too. And Rees was devestated he lost the Faries from Sleeping Beauty. At least we had it for a day. And the yellow/blue did NOT match the plaid dust ruffle and pillows well at all. It really needed the pinks and greens.

I the Cameo theme, too! I really want to get a king bedspread. The only one I've seen on eBay thus far sold for over $280! I'm afraid I don't like it THAT much.

I think most of the stuff we're seeing on eBay was Conch's stuff - which that building's theme was predominantly Alice, although I saw some rooms that looked like they were in the Cameo or Ribbons theme when doors were open for Mousekeeping when I stayed there.

Orginially Conch Key was the Alice theme, but as bedspreads were damaged, knowing they were going to have a major rehab in the future, they started replacing them with what was available. So all the rooms ended up with a few of the other comforters too. So I am sure you did see some non Alice in Conch.

Does anyone know the address I use to have a package mailed to me at the GF? I ordered some clothing that does not fit, so I am reordering another size, but at this point need it shipped to me at the hotel instead of to my home.

I did this when we stayed at the Swan in May! It worked out great for me, except the Swan charged ME because I received a package!! The Grand won't. I have shipped things to myself at the Grand before, too. If you can, have your ressie number on the package and the exact name as the ressie is under. Have a wonderful time & come back and share it with us!!

Kristen, I believe all the mattresses are pillowtop. We did a GF/YC split and the GF's beds are noticably more comfy than the YC's. The Swan's are nice, too, but I think their queens are a touch smaller than REAL Queen beds. Sounds weird, but DH and I both thought that. We had a good night sleep at the GF except we are so used to a King.

You're right! I just checked on another site. I just copied and pasted from online. Not sure why the difference.

And in my Googles, I just read that the GF opened on July 1, 1988......July 1 is DD and DH's bday!! That settles it, we need to be there for their bdays in 2008, too.

My first is a mistake and I changed it. The correct address is 32830. I just checked a receipt for something I mailed to the GF. Not sure why my first inquiry came up with the incorrect zip and sorry to jump the gun and post it - I thought it was right, but it's wrong. Of course, calling the hotel can't hurt, but when I used the 32830 zip my package made it there, lol.

Yes they have the Serta Plush Pillowtop mattresses.

When I saw your first post I went to match against the one I had written down from another thread re: shipping water and I figured I must have had it wrong for sure since you are the GF Queen!! OMG...I know. It was corrected within minutes, so I would think (hope) it's ok. Jeez, I feel bad because I honestly just copied and pasted it from another site. Wouldn't ya know it'd be incorrect. I am glad you saw it and pointed it out and it was correctly right away. Crazy.
