LindsayDunn228 ~ I know that they were making another entrance onto CSR property near Bus Stop 2 when we were there. Maybe that is the area you were talking about?

Francie ~ All of the doors are an outside corridor. As far as I know only the Deluxes have interior corridors.

Thanks, Buzz. You're the man :disrocks:

Hang on a second. My hubby just pointed out something that was unclear in mu original question. I meant taking the bus route ON CSR property, not in route to somewhere else in Disney. Does that make sense? Like while we were stopping at the bus stops in the resort. It looks as if it's going to connect to Buena Vista Drive right at CSR. Is this the same thing you were talking about??
Yes, the new road is open but I haven't seen much traffic on it. There are plenty of trees to block road noise. There is also a direct access to the road from the CSR ring road.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

I stayed in 9B but in some ways I think 9A, or 8A/B are better Cabanas if you have a car along. It was a pretty long, hot trip with baggage from the parking lots to 9B and I brought a lot of luggage on this last trip. We also didn't use the internal WDW buses for anything other than trips to the MK.

It is a great resort and I don't think there are any truly bad room locations there.

Portie

But remember that 9a is a smoking optional room.

ameraumi, I post when I'm back for a break. Been doing alot of the EMH's.

What are my chances of getting a non-smoking room at CSR? I requested but they always say not guaranteed. I need it because I am allergic (think puffy eyes and miserable). Should I call them back and let them know that I am allergic or are my chances the same? We are staying in mid-Sept. so I am hoping with lower crowds they can accommodate.

We have never had a problem getting a non-smoking room at CSR.

I'm actually on my way there today for a 5 day trip!!! :cool1:

Since cabana 9a is the only smoking optional building, your chances are good that you will get your request.

I just thought this thread needed a little *bump* :Pinkbounc , since there have been so many questions about CSR on the boards lately.

Buzz, I hope you can help me with this. We returned from CSR last weekend. While eating one night in the Pepper Market, a cook at one of the stations told my DH that starting in June, the Pepper Market is going to be completely redone and will end up as a sit down, full service restaurant without the food stations. It didn't make much sense to me since they already have the Maya Grill, but it is definately what he said. We are hoping that it isn't true at all, since we love the Pepper Market just the way it is. Have you, or anybody else, heard anything about this?

We are leaving in 4 days for our first trip to the CS! We can't wait!! Thanks everyone for this great thread full of info. Buzz your pictures are what got us thinking about CS in the first place. I'll be sure to report back how my stay was when we return. :)

Haven't heard anything about it. I would hate to see the PM be taken apart though. I love it just the way it is!!
