Well I was thinking maybe taking a cab to Walmart or someplace nearby, but I do not want to spend alot on that either. Has anyone taken a cab & could give me an idea of cab fare?

Hi!
We are planning on spending our honeymoon at the CSR & I have a question. Are there king size beds in each area of the resort or are they only located in specific sections (Cabanas, Rancho).
Thanks so much!!

I go to this Publix:

Xentury City Center
2925 International Dr
Kissimmee, FL

It's pretty close to CSR. The Wal*Marts are all very far away.

You may also want to look into having your snacks/water delivered. A lot of people like wegoshop.com. It's not a lot more than a cab ride (and maybe even less!) to have your things delivered to your resort.

I checked out wegoshop. I do agree it will be cheaper for them to deliver than take a cab. Thanks for your help! :flower:

All villages have king size beds

We just requested a king size bed and it wound up costing us an extra 140 for the 8 nights were there. So worth it consider the dogs will not be in the bed with us and rather at my mother-in-laws...

Here are some photos from our first floor room in Building 2 of the Casitas. We had a direct view of this fountain. (It was absolutely beautiful when lit at night.)

As you can see, we also had an indirect view of this quiet pool.

Here is a better shot of it -- taken a few steps from our room.

Just loved the CSR website. Loved the photos. You did a great job with the description of it. I have seen it from afar, but never up close and personal. Someday, I guess we will get there. Thanks for all you do.

Wow! What great pictures!

How long did it take you to get to the food court and Dig Site? I still think I would like the Casitas best, but I'm concerned about too long of a walk.

Our walk to the food court was very, very short. If we wanted, we could stay under cover for the entire walk. Personally, I enjoyed wandering through the courtyards, checking out the topiaries and fountains.

The dig site was a bit of a hot walk. However, there were many, many drivers with carts ready to take you where you wanted to go around the resort. We didn't have to walk unless we chose to do so.

Can you still fax or call in room requests 3 days before you arrive? Thanks

Thanks :). I know that Buzz2001 has told us that until he was blue in the face, but it's nice to hear from others about the availability of the carts. I was afraid it would be a long wait for the carts and I wouldn't want to do that with 2 anxious 6 year olds.

The only cab I have taken is from the Beach Club to CSR and the cost was $6.00.

I think that it is still possible but it looks like WDW is changing the process. Check out allearsnet.com for the latest details.

We just got back last nite and we LOVED CSR!!!

We stayed in Casistas 3. VERY short walk to El Centro, but pretty long walk to dig site. We didn't care though.

Have to say that we LOVED LOVED LOVED this resort! Absolutley wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms clean, cast members extemely helpful, and the buses are NOT crowded at all! We had zero problems with bus crowding and it was the end of July!

If anyone has an questions you can PM me and I will try to answer them! :earsgirl:

I'm finally going to get to stay at CSR! We've decided to go Thanksgiving week and we've chosen CSR for two nights before moving over to BCV. My granddaughter has been eyeballing that Dig Site for 4 years now and she's finally going to get to enjoy it. The whole trip is a surprise for her and my 2yo DGD! We're going to be at CSR November 23 & 24!
