Laura 74, how did "make sure it would be noticed by a cast member"

I'm a graphic designer and I just put together an eye-catching page with "Dear Cast Member," large and bold. I found a picture of Mickey or Minnie, I can't remember. Maybe I got it from the Magic Artist coloring pages on disney.com. Anyway, I noted that it was our first time staying on-site and how excited we were. I think I said something about how I'd heard so many stories about cast members doing nice things for guests. Of course, it could have just been luck or an early arrival time that got us the room!

Has anyone ever ordered a case of water from staples and had it delivered to CSR? I know they have a small shop at the resort but I would imagine their prices are going to be higher. I think the case of water delivered would be a little less than $15.00.

Thanks!

We got our water from Gardengrocer.com when I ordered some breakfast foods, soda, and a little nightcap!;) They were great.

all - we have ADR for MAYA GRILL in Dec. I just had a CM with WDW-DINE confirm it is in the DDP. But when I asked about quick service for breakfasts at Pepper Mkt she could not find it on the list. Then she checked with a supervisor and said yes it is on the DDP.

So my question to all of you - have you very recently stayed at CSR and used your QS for breakfasts at Pepper Mkt??

Has anyone been told they cannot use a QS credit there?

thanks

We were there in September and we used Counter Service credits for our breakfast at the Pepper Market.

We also used gardengrocer.com for our water delivery...and as others have, we order breakfast and snack foods too. The delivery fee was $12 and the water was $8 for a case of 30 16 oz bottles. We were very pleased. I don't know anything about ordering from Staples although others had suggested it prior to our trip. I needed more than they offered.
I hope that helps.

Yes, they are on the DDP for December but what about next year?

Does anyone know if Coronado Springs has been added to the Dining plan for 2008 yet? If it hasn't does anyone know when it might be added?
Thanks.

Sorry, I know this has been asked already, but I can't find the post... Do the rooms at CS have coffee makers in them? Thanks!

Yes, they leave packets of coffee in the room. However, the coffee doesnt have much flavor. I sent my dh with our CS mug to get me coffee each morning but there was a long lineup even at the takeout window. Next time I am going to pack my own coffee ad small basket filters although I may still make dh go get my coffee. LOL

I am telling DH to bring his own coffee and filters...he hates the nescafe...and him without coffee equals :scared: Do the airlines have any problem with checking coffee in your luggage? I'm never done this before so I have no clue....

Hi Princess Amy, We aren't Nescafe fans, either. Maxwell House makes filter packs. They come in a blue box. They are coffee/filter in one, and they are just right for the Disney in room coffee pots. I pop them out of the box, and put as many as we want in a zippy bag. I bring sugar, and pick up milk on site. I pack the filter packs and sugar in my luggage, never had a problem. Bringing your own is a great way to start the morning! Best, lilyv

Just wanted to pop in and thank everyone for all of the terrific CSR info we gathered before our trip last week. The resort was as gorgeous as we remembered from our first stay there back in 1998. Our rooms were in the Ranchos section facing a quiet pool. Very lovely. We had requested Ranchos on an upper floor but were put in Casitas on the ground floor. We asked if anything else were available and Ramond who checked us in found just what we wanted. He was super nice and made our check-in a really nice experience. The rooms were clean and wonderful. And a special thanks to Buzz for the a/c advice. The humidity was horrendous last week but our rooms were always cool and comfortable. All in all our stay at CSR was fabulous.

Thanks for posting! Never get sick of reading about others that had a great time at CSR!!

Hello Everyone,

My DH and I are staying at CSR(for the first time) in 35 days and I did not request a specific building on the reservation. So my question is...is there a bad section of the resort? :confused3 Which one was the former smoking building? I think that is the one that would be really unpleasant to stay in. I would have to ask for another room upon check in but I need to know which one it is. Thanks for you help.;)
