New version looks great. We are so excited!

Question - what is the proposed connector road? Is this the one from the toll road?

Buzz -- I asked about this during my trip, and the CMs working that evening told me that I had to go inside Pepper Market to refill my mug regardless of whether it was pop or coffee. Perhaps I got someone on a bad day?
It is also still listed on allearsnet.com as a spot to refill. I think you had a CM that wasn't knowledgeable.

What's the procedure for getting a take-out meal from PM? Sorry if this question has been asked before.
Ask the host/hostess for a "TO GO" ticket. If there is a line, walk to the front for the ticket. Pick the food you want, get your card stamped and pay for the items.

Thanks for that quick response, Buzz! If I walk to the front of the line, won't people become angry thinking that I am cutting? Don't want anyone to tackle me on my first stay at CSR! :)

My DS7 and I will be staying at the CSR for SWW June 1-6. We have bfast ressies at the Park Fare on Sun, 6/3 at 8:00 am. How early should we board the CSR bus in order to get there on time? I know we will have to get off the bus and wait for the MR to take us to Park Fare. WHat time do they start running? We plan to take advantage of any EMHs.

They are waiting for a table, nothing you can do about that. I just didn't want you to wait in the line. There usually isn't one anyway.

They start running about 6am. Most PS's start at 7am. Not sure if the monorail starts early enough though.

The latest they allow at any resort is 1:00. Any time after that they charge you for. Although, my friend had special circumstances and they allowed her to stay in the room until 3:00 without charging.

Buzz,

Thanks so much for the website!

DH is set on WL because of it's proximity to MK where we'll be spending most of our time but I wanted to try somewhere new. Since $400 plus a night is out of the question the Poly is out. What about CSR? Are the busses that bad?

It's all about the kids and DS(7) is currently obsessed with a kids game show called "Legends of the Hidden Temple" so what better treat for him than the Dig Site pool!

Anyone have CSR benefits or highlights I can use to sway DH?

Thanks!

We were there last week and never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. They were never crowded and we always had a seat. We thought the transportation system was great.

PM sent. CSR has many deluxe amenities like a fitness center, spa, salon, tanning beds and a full menu room service. The pool and transportation are the best of the mods. The biggest difference is full size beds and exterior corridors. CSR is only 10 mins from MK and 5 mins from the other 3 parks.

The last time I stayed at WL the only way to get to MK was by boat (that may have changed by now). Let me tell you, that boat took longer than any bus I've ever been on. And even though you are close to MK at WL you are not on the monorail so you still have to take a bus everywhere else and some of those rides are very long -- much longer than the rides from CSR.

I didn't read when you were going but keep in mind that the pool at WL is tiny. More often then not the chairs are all taken and there is no place to sit. At CSR the pool is huge, just as well themed (IMHO it's theming is better and the slide is way better), and there are always chairs to be found. Also, there is a playground, volleyball court, and an arcade all at the Digsite (main pool). In addition there are several quiet pools throughout the property so a quick evening swim is always available without heading over to the main pool.

While WL is all one building, which can be a great benefit if it's cold out, it can be a long walk to the main part of the building just as the walk at CSR can be a long walk. CSR offers internal shuttle service to get you around but the walk is absolutely beautiful.

The only real benefit I can think of for staying at WL would be the Electrical Boat Parade which you can see in the lagoon by the hotel. However, if you are exiting MK around 9:00 you can see it from the bus stops. I would stay at CSR and spend the money on something fun.

Thanks so much! I'm going to show DH some pictures I downloaded and see what he says. I'm sure it will be "whatever you want dear" since it will be both my anniversary and my birthday that week AND he won't have to drive anywhere like our last WDW trip.

I've stayed at all the other mod's and thought that they were much more peaceful than our WL stay. Don't get me wrong, WL is beautiful but a little dark for me and our last visit was a little noisy.

We're going 11/3-11/8 during the first half of the much dreaded "Jersey week" :scared1: so swimming is definitely in the plan. Is there any area that I don't want to be located near?

Have a great trip!!

Hasil72,
I stayed at WL in Nov '06 and CSR in Oct '05 and thought the transportation at CSR much much better! Of course the roads to MK were under construction from WL when we went so had to take the boat, but the buses to MGM, Epcot and and AK came around much quicker at CSR when we stayed. And no sharing at CSR. After we got on the bus at WL we had to go to the Grand Floridian. We are going this June and staying at CSR.

We had great bus service as well in January. The longest bus ride was to DTD. Everything was a quick short ride! and managment does evaluate the busses. one day while we were waiting for our bus, there was an employee with a clip board, everytime a bus pulled up he was noting the time, and whatever else on his clipboard.

We did Jersey Week in 2000 and it really didn't effect us other than the park hours were shorter.
