I just looked at your WDW photo album and I must say that those are some of the BEST pictures I have seen. I love that you didn't just take the ordinary shots. Congrats..

Hey buzz.. May end up in Cabanas 8A ... I know that's by the pool and a bit of a walk to the main stuff.. but also near the bus etc..

Ever stayed up that way?

Knox
Twice, cabana 8a is a great building. One end is steps away from the pool and the other side is very close to bus stop 4. It's a nice location to have. I have a few photos of the view and building on my site.

Buzz -- I asked about this during my trip, and the CMs working that evening told me that I had to go inside Pepper Market to refill my mug regardless of whether it was pop or coffee. Perhaps I got someone on a bad day?
Or they changed the rule since I was there in April. In the photo you can clearly see the sign has mugs for sale and I got coffee and soda at this window during that trip.

How soon could we get to Ohana's for Breakfast if we are using Disney Transportation (Bus)? CM would only give me reservations at 9:00 no earlier. Would we be able to get there sooner than that? What time do the Buses start in the morning. I know in the past we were able to get reservations at 8:00 for Cheif Mickey. Just wondering if I should try again and get a different CM, if you think it is possible. Thanks

I think the buses start running a couple hours before park opening but my husband isn't an early bird so I'm not positive. If you leave at 8:00 for MK and take the monorail over to the Polynesian you should have enough time.

Buzz -- They were still selling the mugs at the counter in January, but I had to go inside PM to get a refill, even on my first fill-up of the mug. Perhaps the rule has changed.

Thank you for visiting my WDW photo album, and for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I had such an amazing time on my trip, and despite many friends believing that I spent my entire trip behind the lens (since I took over 700 digital images), I actually spent very little time shooting and most of my time experiencing.

I also have a habit of going for the unusual shots that may not be easily identifiable to anyone but me. Everytime I see "The Stones" it makes me smile because I remember being at WDW -- and all everyone else see is a photograph of a pile of stones! :rotfl:

You should have no problem getting to Ohana in time for your ADR. Buses to the parks start running an hour before the park opens, so grab one for MK and take the monorail to Poly.

If you wanted an earlier breakfast so you have more time in the parks, try calling back in a few weeks or closer to your trip. Often, reservations change closer to the date and you might be able to snag someone's cancellation.

Have a great trip!

Aww, thank you! I'm always surprised than anyone enjoys them as much as I do when I take the photos and decide which ones to keep.

Have a great trip! I'm so jealous as it'll be another year or so before I can afford another trip around the World.

They start around 6am or so to get guests to PS's. The PS's start as early as 7am.

going in 4 days to CSR:goodvibes :goodvibes

wondering how tough it will be to get breakfast at PM...How will crowds be at around 8:00 am..?

I believe I seen a schedule somewhere of what conventions will be a CSR throughout the year. anyone know where it was?

can't wait to report back ...

very happy about my decision on CSR.

hopefully I will have some downtime to enjoy the hammock

Buzz - great photo's as all.. I know that tripods are a no no in the parks but I am assuming you are using one at CR.. I want to get a bunch of pictures when we are there in December. Can you share your favorite, not so obvious locations on the resort site.

Thanks

My favorite is the small circular court yard between casita 1 & 3.

The the lion fountain courtyard is a great spot, the bridge between the pool and the cabanas and the main building. At night, all these spots are terrific photo opportunities.

We usually do breakfast in the room but have eaten at the PM on a few occasions. We didn't have any trouble getting in and out any of the times there. Have a great trip!

I was asked to shorten my CSR info post so here is the new version. All the info is in there, you just need a few mre clicks to navigate around. Some new pics added as well.
