I just saw this picture below are there 2 playgrounds for the main pool? I just made my reservations for this hotel because of the pool and the playground for my 3 nine year olds. If my kids can't use the playground I may change my mind
The sign is indeed there but kids of all ages play in the playground.

We are seriously thinking of booking at CSR for our Dec 06 trip, as it is the one mod we've not stayed at yet, and we are hearing wonderful things about it. We will have my DM along, who has mobility issues, and will be having to taxi out of the resort for dialysis. If I let CR know when booking, what is the possibility of getting rooms close to the food court and guest services (which is where the taxi people will want to meet her)? I would guess that all resorts are set up to accomodate most disabilities. Thanks for any info, and for any other thoughts concerning setting up a visit with a special needs guest.
You should request casita 1 or cabana 9b. They are the closest to the front. Casita 1 is attached to the main building.

Wow....did I interpret that right? We don't HAVE to have Disney deliver our luggage, but can take it on the shuttle with us????

We have a captionist traveling with us with very valuable equipment and she's a bit worried about it. There's just too much to carry on the plane with her, but I think she'd feel better knowing she can collect it at baggage and take it to the room with her.

The rest of us would like to collect our own luggage too, so we can drop it off in the room and HEAD ON OUT TO PLEASURE ISLAND! lol.

Anyone know if we can for sure do that?

Not sure whether or not you can collect your luggage to bring with you.

I am a huge fan of CBR but am thinking of expanding myself and trying CSR. I my DH stay in 8B, would we have to have a water view to in order to be on the south side? Whould you recommend 8B or 9B?

If you are using the Magical Express, you can take you luggage with you. Just do not attach the yellow tags to the luggage and claim it like you normally would. Then go to the ME waiting area and when you get ready to load the bus the driver will place it underneath the bus and unload it when you get to your resort. I would tip him $1 a bag if you do this (just a recommendation since he is handling your bags).

I would recommend any cabana building. (9a is smoking optional)

The cabana section is similar to CBR. CSR surrounds a 15 acre lake where CBR surrounds a 45 acre lake. If you were to get a cabana room, you would be in great proximity to the pool, bus stop and main building. I think you would enjoy your stay.

Good to know, thanks!

This aerial view might help some folks...

You can get most of Disney on that too.

Which resort is this an aerial view of? Having never been there, I can't recognize anything :(

As the name of the thread indicates, Coronado Springs Resort.

Pool is open 8am to midnight but the lifeguards are only on duty from 10am to 8pm. Slide is open open during those hours.

Hi Buzz,

I KNOW you have a pix of a rollaway bed on your website SOMEWHERE. Darned if I can find it again. Can you tell me which section you have that under?

Thanks!

I'm not Buzz, but it is in this thread somewhere, not too far back, I think.
