Thanks again Mario! That's great to hear.

I had a read a trip report by a woman that totally ripped CSR for not offering this service.

I LOVE reading trip reports, but wonder what motivates a person to write such a biased report without being factual.

I really like your posts because you back up your love of CSR with real information. Keep the updates on CSR coming!!! :thumbsup2
I've learned over the years on these boards to take all reports for what they are, someone else's opinion. What makes you happy may be different from what makes me happy or what makes someone else happy. For me, since I'm at WDW, it would take alot to upset me. I like to show pics because it lets others see the truth.

Does anyone know if bed rails are available for children? If so, is there a charge?
I know they are available, just don't know if there is a charge.

We are staying at CSR in June. Thanks for all the information-I am even more excited(didnt think that was possible). I showed my DH the pictures from your website and he is now excited with me. :cool1:

Hi everyone,
I just found out I am pregnant. We had orig planned on staying at CSR Nov 27-Dec5, but that would be close to my due date. So we are planning to move our trip up to September (free dining).
I've read that there is not enough shade at CSR...is that true? :sad2: Or by the pool? I had gotten so excited about staying there. And Buzz's pictures are amazing!!
IMaybe someone has gone there during that time? Thanks

If you are using ME, your bags are automatically delivered to your room approximately 3 hours after your flight lands. We used it last week with no problems whatsoever.

As soon as you drive up, bell services is there to assist you. I've arrived between the hours of 7am through midnight and have always found bell services there. Some guests do care to tip so many CM's so they choose not to use their services.

not if you do not want to, that will be your choice.

Look for Ray Ray, he is one of the great CM's at CSR!!

I thought there was plenty of shade while we were there the first week of April. The pool area is surrounded by trees, but we used it in the evening so Mario will be able to answer that one better.

We just booked a week long stay at CSR in late Sept to take advantage of free dining. Our original plan was to take my 4-year old niece to Disneyland, but when crunching the numbers including free dining the Florida trip came in at 1/2 the cost!

Am I correct in assuming that their will be life jackets available for young ones at the pool?

Also, I stayed at CSR for a conference several years ago. I remember a direct bus from CSR to the Boardwalk. Is this service still available?

One last question....we won't be arriving in Orlando until 10:30pm. When do you think our luggage will arrive via Magical Express? Will they hold it and deliver it in the morning if we request or bring it over at 2am? I am not sure what I prefer. It will probably depend on how tired we are when we get there!

I am really enjoying your pictures, Mario! Please keep them coming! :)

Am I correct in assuming that their will be life jackets available for young ones at the pool? - yes

Also, I stayed at CSR for a conference several years ago. I remember a direct bus from CSR to the Boardwalk. Is this service still available? - no, it has been discontinued. That was a great perk!

There is a lot of sun at the pool but there are also areas that are shaded, especially over by the slide entrance. You should have no problem at that time of year. Also, there are areas throughout the resort with benches that are shaded to sit and relax in. You should have no problem.

As for the ME baggage delivery, just let them know when you check in when you want your bags delivered. But if you want them in the morning make sure you pack the essentials in a carry on. You could also pick-up your own bags at the airport thus avoiding the delivery but then you would have to not use the luggage tags they provide.

Just wanted to pop on and say that we have a group staying at the CSR in September. 9/28 thru 10/2 to be exact. It is for the DIS Ladies-only trip and we have at least 30 ladies that will be staying there, some for the first time ever. (myself included)

I am so excited and this website and Buzz himself has provided us with some very valuable info. Thanks so much!!

The map you are looking at is not valid. Here is a copy of the correct CSR map.

Here are some good choices

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.

:thumbsup2 Just booked our trip to WDW @ CSR with free dining plan for 6 nights 13-19 August. My DW and 2 DD teenagers will be there in Orlando for another event the week before and I will meet them there on the 13th. We got the park hopper option just so we can go to the great restaurants we like, mostly in Epcot  The girls have it all planned. Me, I get to come along and pig out :teeth:

Couple questions? Does ME have a way to pick up my girls and their stuff too when I get there, or do we need to make other arraingements for them? Also, when should I request which section I want to stay in, like the Cabanas?

Thanks!

Hey Buzz-How crowded was Francisco's when you were there? Last time we were there, it was pretty dead all week. The bartender and one of the waitresses(both very friendly) there gave us a couple of good Disney tips and we stopped for a couple just about every night.

I am sorry to trouble you Buzz - i bet you are sick of everyone asking you loads of questions!!- just the one this time :rotfl2:

Are there telephones by the Dig Site? DH would like me to phone him when we arrive, but i am unsure whether i will be able to drag myself away from the pool ( I love him really  !!). When we arrive from England and plonk ourselves by the pool, lets say 17.00 hrs our body clock is saying it is 22.00 hrs and time for bed, so we always drop asleep. If i have to walk to PM i might leave phoning him until the next day!!

Couple questions? Does ME have a way to pick up my girls and their stuff too when I get there, or do we need to make other arrangements for them? - Not sure where they need to be picked up from but ME has a station at CSR in the front of the resort.

Also, when should I request which section I want to stay in, like the Cabanas? - make your request when you book your room. If you already booked your room, call back and have the section/building you want added to your reservation.
