We're going to be staying at CSR in May. On days when we need a quick breakfast I was thinking of taking bagels, and pop tarts. Are there toasters avail in the food court to heat things up?

Yes, at the bakery station

So I understand that there is a beach at CS. Where is it in the grand scheme of things? I've also heard that you can't swim there. Why not and does that mean no wading either?

The white sand beach is located in the cabana section of the resort. There are a few hammocks located on the beach. Like with any body of water in Florida, alligators are present. No swimming is allowed.

Hi there :wave2:
We're thinking of switching our resies from POFQ to CSR. It just seems so nice. Plus, the food court has Mexican food-mmmm, lol. We'll be there Nov 27. Does anyone know if there will be a conference there that week?

Also, my kids love to play in sand and dirt and I'm thinking they might like the Dig site. Man this is a hard decision. I've been 'researching' the many POFQ vs CSR threads, ha ha. take care!

Does anyone know if there is a package deal for the Internet connection for a week or is it the standard $9.95 per 24 hour period?

We'll be there Friday and my DH wants to bring his computer. I can't wait for our first stay at CSR!!!! :Pinkbounc

Thanks,

Joanne

Most likely, there are conferences every week bu that is what helps keep the pool and buses empty.

Just returned from our third stay at CSR this year and wanted to let everyone know that the shuttle service is now continuous all day in a clock wise direction. There are NO SPECIFIC STOPS for this service -- you just flag down the shuttle as it goes past. It runs clockwise but on very busy days they will add a shuttle running in the other direction. It takes aprox. 9 minutes to get all the way around (according to the driver). I used it several times and thought it was great even when I wanted to go in the other direction.

I do have a suggestion for any CSR newbies -- when you check in ask for specific directions to your room not just the building number. I saw several people wandering around carrying their luggage trying to find their rooms. The Casitas section can be very confusing -- even to us who have stayed there several times -- and there is nothing worse than not being able to find your room while you are carrying luggage and kids.

DH and I are planning trip for the last 2 weeks of Jan'07 ad first 2 weeks of Feb'07. Since the weather can be unpredictable, I am curious to know if there is a cost for the tanning bed if we are staying at the resort. Does anyone know? :)

Does anyone have a Room/floor/building layout? I'm interested in knowing what buildings and floors the king beds are on, and which side of the building is closest to the Hammocks. I guess you know what I "want" to do this vacation. :lmao: I doubt if it will happen, but I can dream.

Is 9b the only smoking optional building? Looking for a non-smoking building.

Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Sorry if this was addressed, can't find it however ~

Do they have fridges in the rooms, or are they just available for a fee (and what would the fee be)?

TIA.

We were at CSR last week and had a wonderful time. I posted my review of it on a seperate thread.

During our stay we were in a Jr Suite in Cabanas 9B, room 9555. It was lovely an din the perfect location: right around the corner from the main building and bus stop 1, across the bridge from the Dig Site, and 2 buildings from the laundry. I really feel Cabanas 9B is THE perfect building as far as location goes.

The only thing I wish was available was a microwave. But we lived without it.

According to the WDW website, refrigerators are avail at no extra charge. I don't know if this means that every room has them or just select rooms. I put the request on my ressie just to be sure.

I forgot to add that all the rooms in CSR have refrigerators. They are in a cabinet that has a door.

cabana 9a is the only smoking optional building at CSR.

Floor plans are located on my website below.

King beds are scattered throughout the resort.

Thanks! That would be great. :)
Does that go for the Pepper Market, too? Just wondering if it will be super crowded. If so, we'll just try and go during "off" times.

My dh actually changed our resies to CSR this afternoon! I didn't know he really wanted to stay there! That's the only planning he's done for this vacation, lol. I'm so happy.
I knew I would get him excited about this trip :thumbsup2
