Is there a direct bus from Coronado Springs to Typhoon Lagoon? I know that Blizzard Beach often shares with Animal Kingdom. Does Typhoon share with Downtown Disney?

Thanks.

I am pretty sure that Typhoon Lagoon shares a bus with Downtown Disney from/to CSR. We did that last year, but it wasn't bad.

For drivers, Cabana 9B is a little bit farther from a lot than the other Cabanas. I wish 9A was non-smoking, that would be the ideal location.

We might have a breakfast ADR at BC so which park bus would I take from CSR, Epcot or MGM? Any idea how much time I should allow to get there?

Also, would BC then have a bus going to DTD?

Thanks!

Finally, we are booked for Coronado Dec 1-9! I only had to change my ressie 3 times to finally get a room!! Sure hope all the hard work pays off. I want to look at it as everyone wants to stay at Coronado because it is the best resort! I just happened to get lucky with securing a room! :rotfl:

Have a great trip! We love CSR!! Best pool, transportation and food options!!

I had a question. I booked a standard room on my reservation, with a request for casita 3 or cabana 9a. When I looked up my reservation on the Disney Website, under room type it says limited view. What does that mean? I've never heard of it before. C'mon Buzz and help me out! :goodvibes

Either park bus will get you there. The Epcot bus will drop you off in the front and you have to walk over to the International gateway, then to the Beach Club. If you go to MGM, walk to the dock, get on the boat and take it to the YC/BC dock and walk from there. I think the second option will take a bit more time because there are other boat stops. (S/D and BW) Allow yourself plenty of time to get there ..... maybe an hour for the first option?

I saw something on this and "limited view" was an obstructed view not a water view.

Stayed at CSR 4/25-4/27. Here's a few pictures:

The weather and crowds were great!

beautiful pictures Topper! I am itching for my 2 day stay there in August! I miss that resort. It just feels like *home*.

We'll be arriving on May 12th with our grandaughter and I have to thank Buzz and all others who have made all the info accesible and have whetted our anticipation of staying here.Just a quick question I thought I read somewhere that there will be some minor construction at El Centro, will this affect anything?? Thanks again I'll keep lurking

Just back from a four day stay so I thought I'd share my latest CSR experience. First, the construction didn't really effect our stay although it was ugly. They could have tried to dress up the walled off area a little but it's not an extended construction time so I guess it isn't that big of an issue.

We stayed in Ranchos 7B, had two connecting rooms one of which was handicapped accessible. If you are requesting a HA room DON"T ACCEPT THIS ONE (7562) unless it is the only one available. The room itself was great but the location is an issue. There is no easy way to get to the walkway to go to the pool or main building. You either have to go to the far side of the building, around the quiet pool and then to the sidewalk and all the way back past your building or you have to go down to the parking lot and over to the cabana section and then back up to the sidewalk.

Mousekeeping was excellent this trip -- after our initial arrival. We put our bags in the room and I noticed that my mom's room smelled like mildew. No one else noticed it at first but after a while everyone started to. I had to go down to concierge so my DH suggested that they just leave the doors open to air it out while I was gone. While in line for concierge the manager walked past and asked how everything was so I told him. The Mousekeeper got to our room the same time I did. She agreed that it smelled and was going to clean the bathroom again but then noticed that the bottom of the shower curtain was black with mildew. She replaced the curtain within 5 minutes and the smell went away. No problems at all after that.

We ate at both Pepper Market and Maya Grill this trip. I was pleasantly surprised that the Pepper Market has added even more things to the menus. The chicken calzone was excellent -- either new or we've just never seen it. The Chicken Taco salad was also very good and very huge. I was also impressed with the number of people manning the checkin desk at the PM. I got there around 6:30 and there were about 25 people in front of me, probably 6 tables worth, and I was at the desk in under 5 minutes. Very nice. I did notice that several people during check-out were arguing that things that were stamped on the card weren't things they actually got. I looked at my card and discovered the same thing -- two stamps for water when I only had one. Apparently the man at the drink stand was stamping twice if he saw a bottle of water from the kids meal. It got straightened out very quickly and everyone was happy.

We spent about 4 hours at the pool and enjoyed it immensely. My only complaint is that they really could keep it open a little longer. Then I have a question. Could someone please explain to me how the handicapped pool entrances work? None of the lifeguards even knew. In all the times I have been at WDW I've never seen anyone go in that way so if anyone can answer that let me know.

Overall a very nice stay at CSR.

Those photos are just gorgeous Topper! Thank you so much for sharing... we are very much looking forward to our stay there.

The pool is open from 8 a.m. until midnight with lifeguards from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. I thought those hours were more than ample.
