Did you try it yet? I think it's very tasty and only $2. It's two syrup filled pancakes with a piece of crispy chicken in between.

I have never had chicken and waffles so this is the closest I have had to that.

I had this at lunch time, not sure if it's served at breakfast although I wouldn't want it for breakfast.

Sorry, I just don't get the chicken & waffles thing. And syrup filled pancakes surrounding a piece of chicken? No thank you.

I admit I'm a "gotta have sweets" person, but syrup and (pancake or waffle) batter with chicken, just seems weird to me.

Oh my goooooooood

If this comes to Canada, I will be in real trouble. That sounds so good.

It is very tasty and I am in trouble, have had 3 already. It is not a large sandwich, but very filling.

If it's like the original McGriddle, it isn't so much a syrup filling, as little specks of syrup throughout the pancake type bun thing. It's really tasty and I look forward to trying a chicken version. I just hope the chicken isn't a very large piece. Those pancake bun things aren't very firm and could fall apart when you hold it and bite into it.

I am not a fan of chicken and waffles (okay I love chicken and it's pancakes/waffles/syrup I dislike). I wish they would come back with their chicken biscuit (or substitute a McMuffin instead). I wonder if it's the same chicken because I would totally order it and substitute a McMuffin for the McGriddle bread.

Chick fil a chicken biscuit. :lovestruc Addicting. (Not a fan of maple syrup, lol.)

Pretty sure I didn't need to know about this, it sounds pretty good to me;)

Sounds disgusting :crazy2:
Jo the sweet/savory thing can be really good. The sausage Mcgriddle is delicious. Of course none of this stuff is actually good but it's alright in a pinch.;)

My daughter works at mcd's and she hasn't heard of this coming up any time soon. She's also quitting in two weeks to start her next adventure at Booster Juice. I guarantee I won't care what's going on in the world of smoothies lol

I have asked that on her last day she steal me a crate of chicken nuggets, and mcgriddle cakes. We'll see how it goes..

(Not kidding about asking, mostly as a joke).

Nope, haven't tried it. Won't try it.

Waffles are for breakfast, chicken is for lunch or dinner. I can't even imagine combining the two. Blech!!

n-a-s-t-y. Some of the stuff they come up with now amazes me. Not only in how gross it is (which is purely subjective, so that's just my $.02), but how wickedly unhealthy it is too. This isn't the worst of them for sure, but the taste combo doesn't sound appealing for me.

However, I have to give McDonalds credit. I don't eat it, but they have certainly done quite a nice job in expanding their menu. Many of us here remember the day when you could order anything you wanted from McDonalds...as long as it was a hamburger and fries. And heaven forbid you ask them to make it without pickles, they looked at you like you had 3 heads. Their menu has really broadened and even has healthy options now. I think that's wonderful. But some of the bizarre combos, are simply that...bizarre.
