So where are you staying in Vegas (have I mentioned I love Vegas!!) I'm envious, I'm imagining sitting at the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio right now watching the dancing fountains!

Probably......... I think each board should have its own tag fairy for that reason..... Then it would be a bit more fair........ I mean, I never have need to post on the WDW boards, etc so I'm not really gonna get noticed by the tag fairy.......

I agree, I don't post on there either except for on the thread my tag is in reference to. The posts scare me over there at the moment with all the political election threads going on!

Indeed I am. It's one of my two trips in planning referenced in my sig. I don't have an accurate enough date to create a ticker for that yet.

Talking about Ticker's when I was looking at flights to Seattle, I discovered that unfortunately, my Ticker might be wrong - I might have to fly out a day early in order to get there at a sensible time. With that in mind, I suspect it's really 17 days, so this time next week I shall be preparing the hamsters again for my SDD (yes, I'm excited about a work trip - I know it's sad )

Id be very excited about a work trip if it was to somewhere like Seattle

I think what should happen is the moderators should be able to nominate posts that they think are funny to the tag fairies. The tag fairies should then review the posts to see which of those truly are worth being given as a tag.

I browse on the UK community board and have posted very very occasionally and enjoy reading trippies on the WDW board but again dont really post on there - this is where I spend my time

I just think its a little unfair if WDW boards get more of a chance for things like that. As long as the tag fairy comes here sometimes though I shall be a bit more content!

I have no idea where we're staying to be honest. My grandparents are organising the trip, so it won't be anything less that a 4*, but they haven't really decided where we're staying and won't for a while yet because they're pre-occupied with going to Australia right now.

Unfortunately, I wasn't invited to go on that trip Can't complain though, I've gone to some really nice places over the years with my grandparents: Cyrpus, Majorca, New York and now Vegas.

to be honest I dont think my first tag is especially funny - it was in relation to buying the new brits guide and I said I wasnt going to look at it til I got some housework done - I was surprised when it appeared as a tag (but pleased as well of course)

True, but then again the WDW board has about 10x as many posts than we do, so you'd expect there to be roughly 10x as many tags given out.

To be honest, I'm not that fussed either way. It's a nice, quirky little extra, but if too much is made of them then you run the risk of create a tag clique and an un-tagged mass...

More than 4* in Vegas is the only way to go IMHO. The rooms are so reasonable for us Brits with the exchange rate and the fact that the rooms rates are low due to the gambling losses! Great for us that don't really gamble!! I love the Bellagio and Venetian. The Wynn looks lovely too (haven't stayed there though) but is a little too far up strip for my liking. My best room though has to have been in the Venetian (we got a high roller suite by some miracle - we booked a regular room! I guess the check in girl was in a good mood!!)

I remember you're second one, though I forget whether you were posting about hen you visit the top of sleeping beauty's castle or the castle bit in the middle of the maze...

I think that was still back when I was a lurker rather than a poster - I lurked for quite a while, just reading a giggling at some of the posts and pretending to play the quizzes.

I know what you mean........ I just get a bit miffed when things don't seem equal. Thats just one of many quirks though!! ! Its not really a pressing concern in the greater scheme of things.........
