60 days at midnight!!! So very excited .... so just a quick question when we originally booked the trip we put in a few room request (adjoining rooms and a request for a playpen) if we do online check-in do we over-ride those requests? Reeeeally want to end up in Jamaica but if I somehow lose my SILs request for a playpen by adding new requests she will be most un-pleased with me LOL!!

I did my FP selections last night (check in on 12/12). For the past two nights, it has opened at 1AM eastern instead of midnight. (Just a little head's up so you won't freak out if it doesn't work at midnight.)

No, you won't override the request. The first things that you add when booking are "booking requests" not location request. The online check in is all about location - what floor, what village, ...

If you get there and there's not a pack n play (there never is for me) just call the front desk and they will send one over.

Thank you!!! And thanks for the heads up about the time ... I for sure would have been freaking out since I have been left with the job of booking everyone's fastpasses -- which is understandable since I am the one without an infant :) Guess I will need some extra coffee when I have to get up for work at 5 tomorrow though :coffee:

30 DAYS!! YAHOO!! Going to place an order on Amazon to be delivered to the hotel today- going back to read the first couple pages to see if there is more specifics on doing this- but anyone have any other ordering from amazon to resort tips?

Are there butter packets or cream cheese packets at the foodcourt? Or is there cream cheese for sale at grab and go?

Not butter, but some sort of sunflower oil spread or equivalent. I don't like that sort of thing so didn't use it. There IS Philidelphia normal and light, but you're only supposed to have that as part of their 'bagel with cream cheese' package. That said, I got to the table and realised I'd forgotten to pick up the Phili, so went back to the Grab'n'Go and helped myself out of the basket and then returned to my table. Either they didn't notice, recognised me from earlier when I'd been through the check-out, or didn't care!

There is plenty of jam and honey available for free, though.

We are hoping for a discount of some sort for April!

If you have an account linked to an e-mail address watch your emails (and even junk folder). 3 of the 4 of us adults got an April PIN code. I believe it starts April 9 and goes through a lot of May. It is good for 35% of Deluxe, 30% off moderate, 25% off value. There are restrictions of course. If you don't have an e-mail linked account start one at Disneyworld.com! Then go in and search for the trip you want and just leave it in your account. Maybe that might trigger an email code. :thumbsup2 Sure worth a try!

We are watching no luck yet - we booked already fingers crossed!

AHHHHH 18 Days!!!!

Cannot wait!!! CBR question I have 2 kids and one just turning 2. We arrive late to check-in. However, my concern would just be getting the right room obviously close enough to OPR and transportation, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. I think transportation location would be better. We have a standard room so I know we won't have great choices. Any idea on suggestions? Call and ask? Which area should I ask for specifically village wise? Our previous stays were DVC rental points so we have done SSR and AKKV.

Every village has their own bus stop, so no matter which village you are in you'll have transportation close by. Obviously some buildings are closer to the bus stops than others within each village. I'd look at the first page of the thread for the map and request a few specific buildings that you think would work best.

We had a great stay Oct 2-9. No one caught the stomach bug or pink. We were placed in Martinique bldg 23. Which is the first building past the preferred's, I think. I wanted Jamaica, but was told that the Tower or Terror 10-mile runners were all placed over there on the night we checked in and it would be noisy with a lot of early morning risers. We wanted connecting rooms the most and ground floor which we got but in Martinique bldg 23. I kind of think the CM at the desk was using the 10-miler as a reason to place guests in other buildings. It did not matter much to us other than the rooms were not newly refurbed like in some of the other buildings. We drove down, so we used our car to drive to OPR on the few days we went to swim or eat, no biggie, saved our poor feet anyway. The grandma's both got sinus sick, maybe mold in the room, or the constant AC which they did not figure out how to shut off until a few days into the trip or could just be fall allergies period. My wife and I and our 4 kids did not get sick at all. I had been doing some running training for the last 6 months and I could really tell a difference in my feet at the end of the day compared to past trips. We took air mattresses and put one in each room between the double beds and they fit great and added much needed sleep surfaces for the kids.
