Hullo! Are all of the buildings in Trinidad South pretty convenient to the laundry, by chance? We'll be there for nine days and I think it'll be easier to do two loads of wash in the middle of the vacation rather than pack nine individual outfits for three people.

Yes, the laundry room at the quiet pool is right in the middle of Trinidad South so convenient located to all buildings.

Very silly question.... just by looking at the map of the resort online, I am unsure how the transportation works... is there some kind of transportation that will take you from the check in desk to a bit closer to your room if you happen to be the furthest away from the check in? The bus that drops you at the resort after a day at the parks, does it do a loop around the resort or just stop off at the main entrance? Just weighing my options of upgrading to a moderate and this is the resort I would want, I just have never stayed and don't know the logistics of getting around such a big space without walking for an hour! LOL!

Yes.. there is an internal bus service that takes you from Custom House where you check in - to the Village you will be staying at. You will be directed to the pick up location by the Custom House staff.

The bus' from the Parks will drop you off at a designated bus stop at or near Your Village as well. There are 2 entrances to CBR for busses, the route around the Resort for pick ups & drop offs will dictate which order the stops are done.

@chelseabun76 yes, there is an internal bus to take you from check in to your village. The park bus also stops at each village. If the map you're looking at is the one on page 1 of this thread, you'll see little bus stop signs at each village.

I read on Page 1 that you can't swim in the lake, is there something to physically stop little ones running into the lake when playing on the beach? Or is walking into the lake allowed, with just swimming prohibited?

Thank you!!

There are no barriers around the lake that will keep people from walking into the lake. I've dipped a sand pail into the edge of the water but was always on the lookout for slithering critters. I've seen people walking on the very edge of the water but I wouldn't feel very comfortable doing it.

There is no one at each beach stopping you, but you are not allowed in the lake at all. No dipping your toes in, no wading, etc. Believe me, you don't want to step foot in that water anyway, it's brown, dirty and full of fish and turtles, and possibly an occasional snake too. :crazy2:

And don't forget the biggie, the nasty bacteria that lives at the water's edge. It is not a good thing to be in contact with.

Thanks to both Donald and Amy :)

Another question re: FPs. I read somewhere that you can book Priority Seating at Wishes, Fantasmic, etc. Do either of you or anyone else know how/where to do that? :confused3

Thanks again!

Which of the buildings have completed renovations? Does this mean all rooms with 2 beds will have queens?

Jamaica and Aruba are done and I believe they just started on Barbados. And yes, all rooms that have 2 beds are getting Queens to replace the doubles

Does anyone know if the kings are being replaced with new beds or are the old ones being put back in? Just wondering. :)

Yes'um i do! Since the last few visits we have somehow missed seeing Wishes it was at the top of our "must -do's" list for me. It's listed in the choices you will have on the days you will be in MK. My suggestion is to 1st find out which days they are actually happening so that you will actually BE IN that park ... then easy-peasy, just select it. I can't vouch for what the view will be like but i have read some folks mentioning that they were able to sit on the grass & that sorta appeals to me!
